Given the timing of the release, I would wager that most UK retailers would have paid for their stock when the pound was at it's lowest for over a year against the dollar and the yen. It's only just now now beginning to recover. The dollar against the yen on the other hand (what I guess most HK retailers are paying in) has not suffered nearly as much.

Thanks Chris. The knee caps do integrate, there is an internal pocket with velcro opening at the bottom and 4 pass through slots for the straps to come out and fasten outside of the trouser leg. It's not as easy as the crye solution if you put the trousers on before the pads and I don't like having the trouser taking the wear instead of the knee cap, but I guess that's what the webbing is there for.

It does look good. If Crye made a JPC in grey I would have one, I almost bought a ranger green one before pulling the trigger on a plateminus. Pic from the Mall last month, shame the grey pc hadn't arrived yet.

Like Bladerunner, I was smitten at first sight.
