    Anyone fitted a barrel mounted 203 to an 061 by any chance? I quite like the look of the Dboys version with the quick release front mount, but the CA launcher I have doesn't fit anywhere near so I'm a little hesitant.

     

    i have managed to fit a KA one to my one (but i had to remove the front sight then slide on the m203, then slide the sight on, also the handguards will need a bit cutting out of them.

     

    I had to remove it because the barrel fell off (AGM poor quality), once i fix the barrel ill put it on and show a pic.

    I just got my XM15E2S. I wanted the fluted barrel type but meh.

     

    I dont know about firing yet because I cannot test it at home, but I have looked it over and am NOT impressed.

     

    The paint is already starting to scratch off the barrel. Gas block is held with grub screws onto the barrel tube which is not ideal (though at least 2 are better than 1). Foregrip attracts dust easily so the powdercoating has gone a greyish colour.

     

    The reciever halves are 2 distinctly different shades. Fire selector feels somewhat loose. The stock coating picks up dust easily and has gone grey.

     

    Totally unforgiveable though is the abysmal buttplate which looks and feels like it came off an LPEG. It is plastic, the hatch doesnt lock into place easily, and the wiring is thin and cheap. I dont think theres a fuse. The stock is thinner than most so it is a squeeze to get Sub-C cell batteries in there.

     

    I cannot believe I paid over £300 (after VAT) for what feels like a cheap and nasty DBoys.

    Oh, I got a VN midcap and a normal Hicap.

     

    the difference in mags was the Ehobby offer not King Arms offer.

    ive had this problem for a few months now and its not always peak times.

     

     

    well ok it is but think about it, we have UK, American, China. Japan's peak hours plus more

     

    so basically its virtually 24/7

    the cool down on this taurus is terrible on full auto. but ill try my new CO2 capsules soon.

     

     

    update from KWC themselves, the cooldown on the mag is due to the fact full aito should only be used in short controlled bursts, otherwise it will cool down too much.

     

    single shot should not be too affected by the cool down, unless rapid shots are fired.

    Blue writing over black background makes it kinda hard to read. If you're going to stick to that color scheme you're gonna have to increase the font. Otherwise nice review.

     

     

    thanks for the comment, I like the colour scheme, The writng is easy to read, but i will look at increasing the size for future reviews.

     

    As for the colour, it would mean gettin a whole new stylesheet and template (which im not keed on doing)

    here is mine, its based on a M21 DMR but with RAS to make it look a bit more modern (hope i dont offend purists incase there is a M21 with ras on it in service that i cant find pics of)

    it started life as a AGM M14,

     

    has had:

     

    TM barrel,

    Tm hop,

    Element H Nub,

    SystemA cylinder,

    systemA cylinder head,

    Guarder nozzel,

    guarder tappet plate,

    guarder bearing spring guide,

    TM piston and none vented bearing piston head,

    XYT steel gears,

    SP120 spring,

    ACM Ras,

    Brass bipod stud (hand made),

    Troy silencer,

    cheak rest,

    3 point tactical sling,

    Scope and laser.

    7 high caps,

    new front sight block,

    custom aluminium outer barrel (slightly longer than standard)

    Has anyone tried extending inner barrels on WA's? If so, how'd you go about it? I can find aftermarket extended inner barrels anywhere, short of parting out a hardballer... which I don't think I could bring myself to do...

     

     

    and Chownsy, that VSR is puuuuuuuuuure sex. What'd you use for the netting over the scope? and how obstructive is it?

     

    the pure sex gets talked about alot, :P

     

    the netting was just a white net bag i had and sprayed it. it helps slightly with stopping glare, Needs to be a bit denser and it dont obstruct view at all

     

    I found that the net bag some knee pads come it works perfectly also.

     

    i got a proper good snniping oppertunity coming up next weekend, ill let you know if the netting works well
