  1. My 4/5 SC battery from some chinese airsoft gun which i bought 3 years back... http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r286/Gaffa07/Photo392.jpg http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r286/Gaffa07/Photo391.jpg http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r286/Gaffa07/Photo390.jpg It simply was not going in.... Still wondering which would give the better firerate - 9.6 or 10.8 (considering i still want the mag to feed properly...) nunchuck battery (3300mAh each, from the website I posted in my previous post.! ). Need this battery to fit in a Crane stock for my SPR I have too, will a 10v fit?
  2. Yep, first time i watched the video, I saw it up on Youtube, constantly waiting to see more and more people posting A&K/ Echo 1 M249 reviews. Allas, no more wait; the perfect review has been posted! I really did enjoy the review, the use of language was so correct and everything was timed well. A very excellent job... Just to point out to the poster on the first page, the MK.2 will not house a large type battery unfortunately... I am planning on getting some Nunchuck batteries with a Mini connector so hopefully they'll fit! //Matt.
  3. XxDODSONxX, wouldn't really know about that as I have the MK.2... But I'll try and see what I can find! Also, on the battery subject, I have found this website, British - Based (which is what I could do with!) that does batteries, quite cheap too... http://www.vapextech.co.uk/acatalog/airsoft.html I am currently debating whether I should get the 9.6v 3300mAh Nunchuck battery or the 10.8v Nunchuck battery. They are priced at £22 and £25, and both have free-post. [Yes, although they have a DEAN connector you can ask to get it changed to Tamiya on checkout...] I do have the MK.2, but a
  4. Many thanks for those who replied about the inert ammunition. Thanks for that!
  5. Just to ask, is there anyone that can point me to somewhere which offers the Inert Minimi ammunition. I don't really want to pay £15 for 10 rounds from 6mil; postage added on top of that. I do have a load of 5.56mm blanks (spent ammo) here in the house, but don't have the links needed... Just wondering if anyone has a good link for the Inert 5.56mm ammunition. It preferably needs to be a place to where I can order from a website, as I find that I don't have too much time available to me these days! << Unfortunately... Or, if anyone knows where they sell the links - great! [They mus
  6. The weight of the PARA, unloaded, with no boxmag attached, is about 6.55kgs, 14.35lbs. With a fully loaded (2500) boxmag, attached, it is roughly 7.1kgs, 15.65lbs. The boxmag itself weighs about 50g, i'd say. Just to add, the Ranger Grip on that website posted on page 8 is the G&P version.
  7. Thanks for that info! Just wondering, 'cos its a small type connector in the MK.2, where would be the most reliable and cheapest place for me to buy a mini - large connector thingy..? Thanks.
  8. Stealth - How do you actually buy those rounds/ products? I would assume its a phone - order service or face to face selling or something... Found out that in actually fact, that area around the slide of the cocking handle is not rust. Every time I pull back the cocking handle and release when I cannot pull back no more, I little bit of red, or dark orange "dust" can be seen. Even if you just blow on the area, you will notice it change from black to orange... Anyone have any ideas about - what the hell that is? Thanks.
  9. Also getting some external parts from the real Minimi and fitting them to the A&K bugger. Will keep you posted on the status 'n' stuff.
  10. Yes, cocking handle works as per real. I think I am going to modify mine (in some way????) to make it much harder to pull the cocking handle back. No, the cocking handle is not loose or anything, just that I want to simulate it in a realistic manner, the real cocking handle is a bit heavier to pull back! ¬ Quite a bit! Courtesy of Component-Shop.co.uk, this is how the [new type] standard battery measures (the one supplied with the gun). I think really your best bet for a battery in the MK.2 Full Stock would be this: http://www.all-battery.com/index.asp?PageA...amp;ProdID=1962
  11. Just going to add now - Was with my M249, with a handsfree approach (My M249 MK.2 was on a sling), when all of a sudden, the sling snapped and the M249 fell from me! Foolish I was, But just to say, however, what a excellently built weapon. Yes, it did only have about 1 metre drop (if that!), and after test firing and putting the barrel cover back on, the gun was as good as new, suprisingly for a Chinese replica - A&K! Only time will tell though... Unfortunately, on my MK.2, i have notices some rust appearing just beneath the gap on the cocking slide. Anyone else sharing this problem?
  12. Just a quick mention about that compartment in the pistol grip... I generally store my Front Sight adjustment tool here, and any other spares for the M249 that I may need in the field...
  13. It is not a gun first-off (it is a rifle). We got taught that in the Army (often had to do PT if reffered to as a 'gun'!) And actually, I was speaking to someone the other day that spent £640 squiddy's on their order, and that order was placed 2 months ago! They still don't have it. Really, my only problem is understanding this fact - why didn't they update us.... on anything? 10 days aft delay and still no warning that they are going to be late. Imagine those who ONLY have net access and base all their 'intel' around a website... Now they will be saying 'Where's my gun, where's my
  14. Right okay, yet another update now! ASW have got the M249's AND L85's in stock (as of yesterday) and have started shipping them! Unfortunately, I won't be receiving mine until next week; which is not good; I am going to Nescliffe ATE (Army Training Estate) from Sunday till Friday... Once again I'll be handling the BIG (real) guns! I do pity ASW though...
  15. They have my money; and an ordered good should be delivered regardless - the fact that there are delays are simply not OUR fault, but yet they still have our money. Also, postal strike has nothing to do with it (so they tell me), as their shipping courier is ParcelForce. Yes, AH and ASW do have a joint-deal going with the M249's, strange however that my info from AH is that they M249's are 'due mid october.' This notice has been on there for a few weeks now, sorry to say that you need to phone ASW for an update 'cos people haven't really been bothered to mention anything on the web
