  1. Miss playing with my G36's... Need a new stock for the one with the sniper stock... It broke a long time ago, haven't fixed it yet
  2. Got it at a good price, couldn't say no... Love the H to death Might consider painting it FDE or some kind of camo later on, just to try it.. Could probably be convinced to buying a VFC SCAR-H in the future, or the ARES depending on how they perform... Best Regards
  3. Finally got myself something else apart from my ol' trusty G36 Haven't shot it yet, need a batt., but it's a standard CA internally, so I expect good performance as long as I don't fiddle with it Best Regards
  4. It's a King Arms Aimpoint copy (well, Walther PS22 RDS actually, but almost same design) with a lowmount, and an ACM Aimpoint magnifier. Haven't skirmished the setup yet, but it works well for backyard can-fun. Best Regards
  5. In my expirience, the fastest and best way to get MP7 Iron sights, is to buy the Well MP7 and steal the sights from it Did that on my own G36, and it looks great and another setup of sights, with added silencer Best Regards
  6. If you press the split battery enough together, it essentlially becomes the other one, so yes
  7. Yes ... I might only own a G36E, but the gas-block front-guard stabilizer is still the same length (bloody CA being too lazy to make the correct length), so I can say that should fit perfectly... Best Regards
  8. An old pic of my G36, getting a new silencer for it soon
  9. A short trip down memory-lane of the last year-and-a-half of my CA36 (only the externals have changed this drastically, internal performance is still approx. the same) : April 2007: stock, with G36C-rail and KA Aimpoint replica May 2007: Same as above, but with added rail on front-grip and vertical front-grip and silencer October 2007: shortened the barrel, added the ACOG (RDS though) Feburary 2008: Got a slightly longer barrel, new flash-hider, re-added the aimpoint with new mount, new stock, laser/light out in front and MP7-sights on the rail as BUIS (
  10. The G36 was never metal in the first place, so making one in airsoft should be a crime Looking at the specs they post up, it does indeed seem to be a viable option, though the JG should shoot just as well (though I won't talk about longevity) out of the box... I'd still say the CA, because I prefer their body material... Best Regards
  11. Seeing those pics makes me want my old long barrel back again... *snif* On a different note, it looks almost exactly as mine did when I first got it and switched the carrying-handle for a rail... You even have the Star flat-top rail as well Might I suggest a pair of MP7 BUIS for the rail? They look quite nice Best Regards
  12. I actually have a low mount for my Aimpoint, but with this mount, it's a perfect match with the height of the MP7-sights So it's kinda 50/50... Will snap some shots with a lower mounted Aimpoint and an ACOG later.... Also, I only got the sniper-stock version, because the ordinary one was sold out at WGC But I quite like the look with the cheek-piece... Best Regards
  13. While we await the arrival of the HK417 in AEG-form, I'd like to post up some new and updated pics of my G36-thing... Got the last parts today (stock, iron-sights, body-pins) "Set-list": CA36 with shortened outer-barrel and K-style flash-hider Rails DIY-mounted through the hand-guard bottom airvents Swiss Arms Laser/light module Star flat-top rail MP7 Iron-sights (hi-jacked from a Well MP7, pretty neat stuff actually, all metal) King Arms Red-dot with QD ring-mount CA36 body with Army Code body-pins G&P KV-style Sniper-stock with cheek
  14. Well, I'm finally considering calling my G36 "finished", though we all know that will never happen Here are some updated pics, got my MP-7 sights and G&P sniper-stock (and Army Code body pins not to forget ) today, and I'm getting very happy with how it's turning out... "Set-list": CA36 with shortened outer-barrel and K-style flash-hider Rails DIY-mounted through the hand-guard bottom airvents Swiss Arms Laser/light module Star flat-top rail MP7 Iron-sights (hi-jacked from a Well MP7, pretty neat stuff actually, all metal) King Arms Red-dot w
  15. A quick D- in the internets for me, for not looking at dates... Best Regards
  16. As FarEast wrote in his review, they're not in retail yet ... Nice piece of kit though, if they make a V3-version, my G36 might just need some new gears/piston/etc. Best Regards
  17. You don't say Nice collection there I've still gotta wait about 1 week for my WGC-parts to show up for my G36... Best Regards
  18. I think he's asking what you think of the STANAG-magwell, and also if you could take some more pics, without the handguard, but still with mags... Best Regards
  19. I know it might just be me, but isn't the SOCOM-silencer for 5.56mm/cal .45? There's no way it fits a 7.62mm rifle But, on the other hand, what kind of silencer actually does? Pretty nice rifle though Best Regards
  20. Three words: Red-Dot-Sight
  21. I know I might be nitpicking, but why not wait with posting the review until you've got the pics? I want them Nice review regardless Best Regards
  22. The large foregrip comes pre-installed on their G36 (long), so I fell qualified to reply... It will not take a nun-chuck, battery, but you can bend the last two cells around the inner-barrel (using a couple lengths of wire), so they're stacked on top of the others, and get a large 9.6v battery that way 'round... Otherwise, you can fit a 10.8v small-sized battery without any modifications at all... The Echo1 is a copy of the TM, just like CA's is, in terms of dimensions, so it'll slide on without problems... But there are no RIS-rails on the long kit, nor any holes for it... You'll have to
  23. Is that an M4 outer-barrel I'm seeing there? Blasphemy!! Nice rifle, sleek and simple... How's it shooting with the added barrel-length? Best Regards
  24. From what I can see, it's most definitely a SOCOM-silencer, which is quite wierd as the SOCOM has never endorced the use of the G36... I'd just go with a Madbull Gemtech, it looks awesome as well... *curses himself for cutting too much of his outer-barrel to be albe to use a silencer on his G36 * Best Regards
  25. 2 lbs Have you weighed it? Because that's a serious piece of silencer then I'll let you rest in torment for another 2-3 weeks, waiting for my G&P sniper-stock, MP7-sights and Army-Code body-pins to come home, then I'll throw up some pics of my G36E-CQC project thinge Best Regards
