Has anyone used the Hephaestus steel charging handles? I'm looking very hard at picking one up after shattering the POS stock one. Definitely a fan of the Badger style latch they have on it.

Not knowing the richness of the spring market, but wouldn't there be a way to source a spring of the same length and tension as a trigger spring with buying an actual trigger spring? If you were so inclined.
Edit : I read a while back that someone used a gas buster charging handle on the kjw, is that possible?

Has anyone looked into shaving down the lower ridges on the magazine body? I'm looking to use shorty KYWI pouches for mine but I both am not sure if they'll fit with the thermold ridges and I hate how they look. On first inspection the mag body doesn't seem to need them to maintain its integrity.

Weekenny how log did it take you to do the Tank stock? Did you just bore it out to fit over the buffer tube? I kind of want to do the same thing and make a Honey Badger looking cqb gun.

I think someone modded a BCM gunfighter to fit by shaving down two nubs on the shaft. I'd go with that one.

The only uppers available are direct from KJW.
The cqb ris can be paired with an m203 on my old barrel mount short 203 I had to custom make a front hoop as it was right on the flash hider.
Is the RIS strong enough for it or does it wobble a lot? I remember seeing something about the RIS they ship with being of...suspect quality.

Will the M4 take RS charging handles and pistol grips? I tend to abuse my CHs a bit and dont want to snap mine.

Landa--get an armorers wrench. They are very handy. Trying to jimmy out the delta right will end poorly.
Q's of my own: Also interested in knowing about aftermarket uppers. I have a SPR AEG I want to transfer over to a KJW once I buy it. It won't be a primary but something I can lap on for longer engagement days.
Second Q: RIS on the CQBR version. Is this a viable option to partner with a M203? I would use a CQB length 203 with this http://www.rhinoairsoft.com/details.asp?prodid=SPAR-CQBRM203&cat=4. If not I have no qualms going to a CASV.
Third: Does anyone do TDC mods around here? I lack to tools to do it and would just rather ship an upper off to be done by a skilled hand than have me try and likely screw it up.
