  1. I was not saying that VFC is better. And I have RealSword. The problem is that RealSword does NOT fit into very many loadouts. Would you find a Soviet Afghanistan loadout with a Type 56? Most likely not. And for more modern Russian loadouts, it is obvious. Also, converting to Russian variant does not work. Therefore, as a full-series of replicas that can fit into many loadouts...VFC is the best. I was just touching all over my VFC, and the gas tube is not wobbly at all(I even tried to move it around...no movement). Also, my gas tube on VFC is exactly like(in shape) t
  2. I got one of those pre-blowback VFC AKs-74, no wobble, not even on the stock.
  3. Cannot possible look worse than JG. Also, there is nothing wrong with SRC-like hop-up, just that SRC hop-up takes a bit of modifying to get it to work properly(such as epoxy on the sides of hop up arm); CYMA may have fixed the problems. aC
  4. No offense, but all comrades know that rails are counter-revolutionary and less rail is better. Even though FSB uses some western optics/accesories, they keep the rail amount to a minimum(as much as they need, instead of having it all over the place and end up needing rail covers). It would be acceptable for a FSB-job if the upper handguard is the regular smooth rail-less polymer one; however I doubt that any realsteel one can fit onto that TM.
  5. I know, but the biggest difference is the nozzle side so I cut it just about half a mm. And it failed(should have frozen it and thinned the sides instead). I put that avatar on for a good reason: set the SVD to safe to shoot bullets at capitalists; set it to FIRE to shoot magical psychological thermonuclear explosions. It is anime after all.
  6. I cut one of them shorter at where the airnozzle touches; it became worthless. I will try cutting a few mm short on the KWA 2G bucking I have. I always knew how to improve airseal with teflon tape, but it never worked with realsword...
  7. They are not really TM compatible, they are CA compatible(I have both CA and SRC).
  8. Thanks. I was just trying out the spare parts that I have. Stock T97 already shoots accurately to long ranges so there was really no need to change anything.
  9. Snigel, remove the muzzle brake for some zombie(?) killing: http://www.kf-wiki.com/wiki/AK-47
  10. I just ran into a problem: all the guarder hop-up buckings I tried(semi-transparent soft one and 70% black one) have failed to either provide enough hop-up or even FEED(black one). The only visible difference between those and the stock bucking is the part that touches the air nozzle; they were thinning on the outside on the stock bucking. Does anyone have any success stories with a certain brand's hop-up buckings?
  11. The biggest problem is that you guys bought the M4 instead of G36. lol
  12. CYMA made an nylonfiber(?) G36C according to gunner. JG is officially obsolete. Also, new JG has a LOT more improvement over the one reviewed here...there needs to be a review of the newest revision of JG G36C.
  13. Did I just read that TM still has not fixed barrel wobble on a FULL-METAL m4???
  14. Not much if the output rate is the same. I recommend this article: http://infectedairsoft.wordpress.com/tech-info/lithium-polymer-batteries-part-1/ 20C makes 7.4v MUCH better. Of course, it depends on how much the motor can draw from the battery.
  15. Nice camouflage. I use it as well. Near the mountains, wearer becomes the predator...
  16. Do you think it would be possible to dye the frame into OD green?
  17. Looks like we got a winner here. Hopefully it is reasonably reliable. Any wobbly parts?
  18. ^except some minor details(which I personally find just slightly annoying but is not enough to be a huge turn-off). I saw VFC AK105 for sale on Airsoftgi(they should ship to other countries) but it disappeared the next day... Apparently VFC paused the production of AK for a while for some reason.
  19. Boil water; add dye; put in nylon furniture and hold it by parts not visible when installed(try keeping them on a hook or something) and remove every 5-10 seconds to check the color and prevent melting.
  20. Me too. It looks very futuristic.
  21. Russian Section 2 actually used a nightvision scope mounted on an AKM at about 200m apparently. Read all about it, and more, in Devil Doc's(fearless leader of Section 2) EW IV AAR: http://www.operationeastwind.com/forum/index.php?topic=1294.0
  22. Tactical AK - done CORRECTLY. All people who slaps rail onto ak need to learn a lesson from this. When the enemy armoured vehicle approaches; hold it over your shoulder and they should run away. Worked at EastWind.
  23. I personally verified that it is not all steel; most of the front end is potmetal and also the front trunnion + stock tang are also pot metal. You are right about the stock tang; it is not meant to be used to bash open doors and heads of capitalist aggressors. Not a bad aeg overall but I would immediately get LCT 2009 AKM parts to replace the front end; otherwise you will be very disappointed when the front sight block have the threads snap off cleanly. I would say that a refinish would be good to make the wood more red and metal more shiny; otherwise you can also get a AK47 muzzle ca
  24. Let me know if you have any for sale. Also, I should just mention that Guarder motor shaft is too long for RealSword for some reason.
  25. *in Borat accent* Very Nice, how much? I want one, can you ship it to U.S. and does it work with the long Type 97? Also, about the motor; did everyone just cut it for fitting or are there short enough ones out there?
