Can someone tell the source of the "E&L is refinished LCT" story? Looking by the gas blocks they are not the same, more similar to RealSword Type 56 than to LCT. I've recently aquired an LCT AKMS (only because E&L underfolder is nowhere to be seen/announced). Started with stock spring and mosfet , 11.1V 20C lipo, got ~2J.The range was decent, but i wanted more fps. Installed SHS m150 spring. This spring was too stif and long and I got some lock-ups. It looked like stock motor was to weak to turn it. It also was a pain to install and it looked like it was sitting in a curwed possition when istalled. After a bit of testing I managed to broke the tooth on sector gear. Installed a replacment gear and new aluminium piston head from RS (labaled as used with m150 and above). Also instaled Element hi-torque motor. Changed the hopup rubber to

Well that's what i was thinking. As theres no AK with side folding skeleton stock and 7.62 ammo better to have poly one (10X) or wood one (AKM). As said, be sure to put the correct mag on correct furniture... Trasher nice as always Where did you get that saw grip ? do they fit the 74 models with no moding ?

Well it shows long mags are in use and popular. You can see photos of 74RPK mags in the same buch of pictures. So doesnt realy matter what model(10X,74,74m), its just good to get the right "caliber".
