  11. Did you get a A&K M249 straight from HK or a rebranded echo A&K? Out of the factory there is none, Echo like to have a fiddle and may well have put some threadlock in there.
  12. My original bipod still doing well, been to 3 skirmishes and still locks in place, stays in place on the whole and legs extend in place without slipping down out of posititon as some have mentioned. Played with extensively in and around house & workshop and Ive really jacked up the weight on it to boot. It does make a lot of difference in wear and tear on mine as it has support from the pintle brackets that restrict the guns tilt by pushing against the upper part of the bipod as it tilts. However its not great, metal is wearing, itll probably need replacing or repairing soon.
  13. On my para you have to extend the bipod and the stock all the way out and then itll sit ok with the boxmag off the floor. Its not a problem, the biggest problem was how unstable it used to be if the bipod wasnt fully extended and even when extended very dodgy, blow on it and mine would just roll over and clatter to the floor.

  18. Thanks, gone back and had a really good look and I have 3 buttons. Details Avatar and Options Details link gives me meta information on the type etc. with no other otpions. Avatar link is .... Option 3 takes me to edit or report image. Ive been back to edit the image and taken out all of its information including the caption and then clicked upload, and it gives me a caption error. Ive not tried reporting it yet.
