Shown with the straps wrapped and attached, 1 inch clearance at barrel and stock ends which I pad out with more foam. Ive got smaller pieces which then wrap round it and a full sheet of foam which lays over the top and holds it down securely.© © typren

Been after a gun case for my M249 for a long time, couldnt afford the prices of a gun case big enough and have been on the hunt for a suitable case. And here it is, full metal ex British Forces ammunition crate, used to hold two monstrous rockets which unfortunately have long been used. It states the rockets were 25kg each! so should be ample for a 10kg aeg. Lined with eggshell foam, has two straps which used to hold the rockets and are now good for further securing of it when in transit. Measures externally 14cm high by 26cm width by 84.5cm long. Would there be any interest in a seperate subforum for the support gunners out there, there quite a few posts floating about that could be amalgamated into there, seems to be a lot on new M249 users since A&K released their version? I was thinking next to sniping haven under The game?

I was in the aeg accessories page on the review database, its about 4 pages long, I click on page 1 and its ok, I click on the number 2 and it resets back to 1 ie the original individual reviews, click on 2 again and it goes to page 2, click on page 3 and it reverts all the way back to page 1 Am I making myself clear?

The front sight is most definitely not aluminium, some sort of tin pot metal, exposure to caustic soda will strip that top layer of silver right off leaving a nice brown smut. A good scrub in soapy water and into the sulfuric bath it goes, turn on the power and it nearly dissolves the reaction is that great, large ammounts of metals fizzing off it. Not good, sprayed it up instead. Looks so good now you wonder why it wasnt done before.

Definitely, my hop rubber was ok nut the hop nub was minimal, seems minimal on most pics Ive seen out there. Looking forward to your sound hog modification millest and if the mag feed problem works s.bomber.. Are the Element FTK kits only for use on ver2 & 3 AEG gearboxes and not the PGC boxes - just thinking aloud and wanting this question answered as well? Ive yet to open my M249 gearbox to compare gears etc.

99% done cosmetically, perhaps a longer/shorter rail here or there, everything else needed will be hidden/unseen. TPRN mounting system, left and right brackets feature engineering aluminium and 20mm RIS 100mm long left, 160mm right, upper and lower RIS fitted. FAB foregrips, ergonomic on left and mag holder on right. Right has a m16 short magazine fitted. 3 x LXGD red lasers, will be connected at some point, it has the predator triangle nailed, didnt even need to adjust them. Monster battery box on the right, may be replaced, modded further possibly in future. ACOG on top, no magnifica© © typren
