I've got a switch & selector plate from an ICS ver 2 MP5 mechbox lying around. Anyone have any idea if this will fit and solve the problem or am I relegated to having to buy a Systema Switch & Selector Plate assy.

I've got a G&P Crane stock on the way as well. Apparently you will have to cut a few mm's off the buffer tube on the gun to make it fit - at least that's what I was told by WGC. Some people may not want to take a dremel tool to their shiney new VFC.

To install another stock on this AEG such as a G&P Crane Stock (which is what I'm going to do) you need to cut off a portion of the buffer tube from the metal receiver. As for upgrading to get a higher FPS, since the bushings already appear to be metal I would just swap out the spring and get a better spring guide as well. I have not had much luck with PDI springs. They are very inconsistent. I tried a Prometheus spring for the first time in my MP5 and loved it. I have ordered a Systema spring for the 416.

I think the only AEGS that don't get trades are the ones that are destined for the US. The ones we get in Canada all get Trades as well. I'm glad to see there are actually some people that are happy with their HK416. Hey Pinpong, just curious, your post said that you were using a Crane Stock & Battery but in your video the wires appear to be connected to the PEQ Box.

Agreed. My order is still in and I'm not about to cancel it.
