  1. Yes it does weigh a ton. The front end is basically a big hunk of pot metal, so the gun is a bit nose heavy. I'd say the overall weight and balance makes it pretty similar to my realsteel AK. Remains to be seen whether this one begins to creak and wobble over time like the newer Cymas I've owned.
  2. Another JG Instantly swapped the wobbly flash hider for a Cyma 74 one. The cranestock was absolutely horrible, so that went also. This Dboys stock fits firmly. A bit of a warning about the mags, regular TM style won't fit. The one in the picture is a G&P after a simple mod.
  3. Dboys HK416. Brown Krylon as baselayer, Woodland Green stripes and OD on the top.
  4. M05 Combat Shirt, from a Miwo Military Jacket and Brit wicking T-shirt.
  5. Paraclete Plate Carrier w/ Cummerbund, SG Paraclete Double 9mm, SG Paraclete Small Utility Savotta M05 Canteen Pouch, OD Savotta M05 Double Magpouch, OD 2x Paraclete Double Magpouch, SG 3x Paraclete Large Bang Pouch (for FDF smokes) Spec Ops Brand Medical Pouch, OD (gonna replace it with a HSGI Bleeder pouch and make it a Haribo-storage pouch) Paraclete Hydration Pouch w/ Source 3L Quantico Supply Large Utility, OD CAT
  6. CM048M. It's the newest gen with the stamped steel body and plywood furniture.
  7. Third gen Cyma AKM. Need to replace the crappy aluminum outer barrel with a blued steel one and get a realsteel butt plate. Otherwise I'm pretty happy how the "beat it around the yard and throw in a ditch"-process turned out.
  8. A fullmetal KJ M9 with custom engraved Beretta USA-markings done by the previous owner.
  9. As requested, some pics of me wearing the LBV on my Photobucket account: http://s181.photobucket.com/albums/x293/jimmy_firestone/ I'll take some new pics displaying the LBV at our next photoshoot, hopefylly I've got the loadout finished by then.
  10. My loadout @ yesterday's skirmish: I'll post a kitlist if anyone is interested.
  11. My lover from last summer. Sprayed with Krylon OD and Dark Brown, gotta' get her a chinese replacement soon and try to replicate the paintwork.
  12. My UHC springer. Had a really boring nite, so I scratched my first name on the slide and finished it with silver scale model paint.
  13. Hmm, haven't posted thiese here yet.. Because I love my LBV, and I wanted also to carry SAW boxmags with it I decided to order some 1000D OD Cordura and start working. I'm quite happy with the outcome, though it's still missing couple of 9mm mag pouches, a SDU-5 strobe pouch, Bianchi M9 Knife Sheath, a pace counter and an ALICE radio pouch. Removed the frag pouches and added an ALICE-slot under the integrated compass/first aid pouch, so I can mount the Bianchi knife sheath through it. A RAID-modded DCU-top I made some time ago and sold later. I made a Woodland
  14. ComradeMP1, yeah, just like that. There's a couple of MpiKM's here in Finland, and their builders have said too that the front grip is easy and the buttstock needs a few hours of work, as the magic commie plastic is so damn hard. But first I have to get the gear, that shouldn't be a problem as NVA gear is dirt cheap.
  15. Yeah, I busted the front sling loop with a hammer when I was stripping the forend. Need to get a realsteel replacement or ask for one of my friends to CNC me one. I'm concidering on converting that cannon into a MpiKM by pumping it full of some East-German goodness, which moves actually in quite low prices here in Finland.
  16. My Cyma AKM had some rape to make it look like it had seem some war. *Note: the plastic handguard and the buttstock aren't really that red, it's just the brightness in the pic*
  17. 1&2. Muzzle break and the whole front kit disassembles just like TM AK47. 3. The wiring is OK, but not the best. It's the stiff type, not silicone coated. I've been crafting real wood parts for my baby for a week now, and learned that most of the Cyma's pot metal is really soft, I already broke the front sling loop while dissassembling the front parts.
  18. Finally, the Cyma AKM is mine. I've been waiting for an affordable AKM so long.. And the quality is awesome! It only needs some wood, downgraded fps and some proper magazines. Puts out around 135-139m/s and runs fine w/ a 8.4V battery. http://s181.photobucket.com/albums/x293/ji...rent=akm002.jpg
  19. At the moment, just my M9 and a woodland-painted M4A1. Planning to get the new version of CA's M15A4 RIS and paint it to desert colours to match the loadout. It just sucks to be poor.
  20. Some older sh*tzey for instance, my 90's SF greenside-loadout. http://s181.photobucket.com/albums/x293/ji...do003Medium.jpg And my highspeed- 5th SF A-stan loadout, waiting patiently for our OPT order. http://s181.photobucket.com/albums/x293/ji...do004Medium.jpg
