  1. You know you've been on Arnies for too long if you can identify a fellow Arnies' member just by the project he or she was working on - and Candyman doesn't count. aznriptide859, the person you are looking for is Reborn. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?showuser=48501
  2. Agreed Moose. Throw an AFG on there, and rather than the Magpul sights and front post, use Troy BUIS. I'm really excited about this platform, esp. with the microswitch!
  3. To both Noveske and uscmCorps: Where do you fit your batteries, and what kind of batteries do you use? I like that type of build, since it makes it look like a bit like a high-caliber bolter, but I wonder if a good old 9.6v mini-battery 1400mah will fit in the CASV there. (No PEQ boxes for me!)
  4. What Racing Maniac said. Magpul Industries reps (not PTS) said that the MBUS was never meant to be put directly on a gas block (direct impingement or piston) because the heat would melt the sight. Magpul's MBUS were meant for rail systems only. If that was a real rifle, teetee would likely put the MBUS at the very front of the RIS.
  5. More PJ photos. These are of the 129th Rescue Air, based in Mountain View, Calif. http://www.michaelyon-online.com/pedros.htm
  6. Oh, it's not dead, just waiting for news on the PTS. P.S.: Mean-looking rifle there. Are you going to keep it flashhider-less? I think it looks slick that way.
  7. Agreed. I've been waiting for the better part of a year. I can wait for a couple more weeks.
  8. I'm willing to bet this is probably one of the most closely watched threads in the forum. There's a lot of people reading UCSM's latest post at a seemingly odd hour.
  9. Here's hoping! Also, I hope the Masada/ACR will be able to use the usual TM/MAG/CA-spec'd mags. God, so many questions, so few answers!!!!
  10. Now we shall see if the wait was worth it. I trust USCM's judgment on this though.
  11. Emdom USA's is about $44, while HSGI's is $28.
  12. I agree about the A2 sights' practicality. I just wish the front sight was shaped like the Troy front half-circle sight. The Troy's sight picture is one of two reasons why I'd use the flip-up BUIS.
  13. I'm curious on the whole receiver-specific co-witness thing; please, anyone feel free to answer this one. If you have flip-up irons on the same plane, does it really matter what height you use, so long as you get the one-third co-witness? I figured if you had flip-up iron sights on the same rail plane, you'd then just use the mount that worked best with them, so I don't follow why there are receiver-specific mounts. Thanks for the help!
  14. "Belt Kits and/or First Line Pics" is accurate.
  15. I think Hedganian is referring to the possible danger of that poking into somebody, as well as breaking it off by accident.
  16. Nicely done. I'm curious though, how did you get the Magpul front sight up there? Other CASV set-ups I've seen either have a fixed front sight or none at all.
  17. Troys would look sweet, maybe even tan ones.
  18. Cool, but do your irons line up with the front one mouted on the MOE like that?
  19. That's the King Arms "VLTOR Front Sight Tower." I've got one, and the RIS aligns with the rail on the M4 receiver. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...aded&start=
  20. I forgot to ask, what are the internal specs on your M733, and how easily does the Magpul stock adjust?
  21. Ah, join the club. The Magpul MOE handguards -will not- fit on a Tokyo Mauri M4A1 because of the barrel nut. The MOE handguards will work with CA, G&P, KWA, etc. I went to AEX and tried to fit it on my TM M4A1, and it won't work. If you replace the TM barrel nut and the handguard cap with, say, G&P, it will fit.
  22. What's the co-witnessing light on the MBUS? It looks like you have both front and rear Magpul MBUS.
