  1. Make that all black, swap out the front sight for a railed gas block so I can use Troy sights, and that's exactly what I want. Nice set-up.
  2. OMFG, I want that config - CASV with EGLM. EVIL. I know you switched to a gas system, but I'm curious how big of a battery could you put into the CASV - do you think it can't fit 9.6v 2000mah mini-nunchucks?
  3. That's North County (San Mateo) SWAT in California, near San Francisco. Two people died in that Nov. 25, Tuesday, shootout - the suspect killed himself, and the mom was shot by the suspect through a wall while handing her two kids out the window to SWAT officers. The local TV stations (cbs5.com for example) has video of the police getting the kids away while gunshots ring out.
  4. So my Echo1 G36C has begun to not feed BBs properly. At first I thought it was the hop-up design, since the magazine well's little semi-circular nub at the top of the feed tube shows considerable wear. BBs were appearing inside the receiver, but were not chambering at all. I swapped in a one-piece SRC metal hop-up, which fit just fine into the Echo1 body. After cutting off the feed tube from the magwell in order to make the new hop up worked, I found out the BBs are no longer rattling loosely in the receiver anymore, but they are still having a hard time feeding. The feed nozzle just does
  5. The most interesting piece of hardware they have are their HK416 rifles. Verry interesting. When were the photos taken?
  6. Is that rubber tubing for a sling? XD
  7. Holy cow, that looks awesome! Can we get a kit list and a close up of the P90 pouches?
  8. Cue the Finding Nemo seagulls please. Mine, mine, mine.
  9. I'm sorry, I can't seem to find the unholy fusion. All I see is something that I want built, now, please.
  10. The Echo1 G36C will only hold up a 9.6v mini. As for places where you can get a replacement handguard, try www.airsoftgi.com or www.airsoftextreme.com
  11. Agred. The Classic Army one looks a bit better. KWA's large foregrip space is practical though.
  12. Oh, and for any outside shots, remember the golden hours - one hour after sunrise and one hour before sunset. Some of the best natural lighting you'll get, period.
  13. I approve. It looks very clean and usable.
  14. Honestly? That'd be actually cool to see work. I'd imagine it could be done on the Hurricane SR-47 kit. The reason why many of us buy AR magwell converters is practicality. AR mags are very common, and there does exist a G36 (Okay, an SL-8) real-steel magwell converter. For me, as much as I'd like to support a G36 loadout, buying all new pouches and magazines is an issue. The magwell provides an option for me to use AR mags with a Version 3 mechbox system.
  15. I didn't. I bought a block of 6061 aluminum and had it machined.
  16. What happens when you put together: A Echo1 G36C A sand-blasted aluminum KSK rail A complete AR BUIS set A Classic Army large G36 foregrip, which is capable of fitting both wiring styles of 9.6v 2000 mah mini nunchucks. Some tape and foam were added to keep the battery from rattling. A modified Private Parts G36 magwell A length of paracord and the male half of a Tactical Tailor Urban-Ops sling An electric blue Aimpoint Comp2 You get the G36JS aka "The Prototype" P.S.: I didn't think a two-tone G36 was possible. LOL
  17. What convention allowed you to carry like that?! Cause holy Jeebus, that's awesome.
  18. With one or two minor mods, the C config is probably one of the best all-around weapons out there. I just got mine, and all I can say is that I look at my tried-and-true TM M4A1 and ask myself "How in the HELL did I like that rifle?" In other words, don't sell the G36C. God knows I'd regret it, and I just bought mine. P.S.: I'm almost done with my mods. You'll all be seeing it by March 29, March 30 at the latest.
  19. Fort Ord, Feb. 16, 2008. Operation Paper Valentine. I got to try out my newly modified Echo1 G36C. It was supposed to be a backup to my tried-and-true TM/HurricanE M4A1, but it shot so well, the M4A1 was only shot for chrono.
  20. I have both the Intellect 9.6v 2000 mah nunchaku battery and a Intellect 9.6v 1400mah mini battery. The nunchaku battery is larger than the mini. The nunchaku will also not fit in the VFC SCAR stock.
  21. Just curious, but has anyone here bought the Classic Army large foregrip? I'm wondering if it'll handle a 9.6v nunchuck battery, has a lower and side RIS rails, and fit on a Echo1?
  22. Give me a second, I need to wipe the drool off my keyboard. Excellent review, FarEast! I've got some follow-up questions for you. 1) How's the VFC SCAR handle third-party mags, such as TM, STAR, MAG and CA? Is there any struggle to lock them in, and do they fall away easily? 2) With the battery inside the stock, can you fully extend or shorten the stock? What's battery did you use (9.6v mini?) - and is there space for anything larger? 3) How secure is the gas regulator tool when it's locked up front? I have flashbacks of the TM Sig552's forward receiver pin and remembering
