  1. They appear to be 2 different helmets (mounts are different), so he still has greeny (among others).
  2. I'll try to find the link again, but they were supposedly real gen3 tubes for like $799 or something.
  3. Are those the ones selling for like $800 on some Chinese based discount site?
  4. @GhostWolf - FYI, the UBL is a belt mount that drops the holster down a few inches, it is not a drop leg system (though some people will add a strap for added stability). Its a comfy ride/draw height, but I've found that it is less comfortable while riding in vehicles (as compared to a standard holster on the belt or a drop leg).
  5. @Rogue845 - Don't you get some weird shadows and dark spots with your light positioned so far back?
  6. The tape just gives the old girl some character.
  7. You have those beautiful uppers...and then the ugly standard PTW lowers, change that stuff out man. What's another few hundred dollars when you're already at that level?
  8. @Ivan, what pack is that in the first two pics?
  9. For a PC designed to be low-pro & lightweight, you sure have the JPC loaded down to bear... Why not go with a more regular PC that's better designed to distribute weight?
  10. What brand are those holsters? Specfically, what's the model on the tan one? Will it run a doublestack, railed, w/ full dust cover too?
  11. Jeesh it looks like you have your JPC loaded up heavy.
  12. Why not just spend the extra ~$75 and buy a pair of MSA Sordins (real ones)? Are you going for a particular impression that you need Comtac's?
  13. I personally run Motorola MTS2000's and am a Motorola Fanboy. That said, the HT1000 is limited to 16 channels, is larger and heavier than the Icom F4s, and in my experience the connectors tend to be more expensive for the Jedi-series radios. I'd probably take a look at the Icom, and have it programmed with the FRS/GMRS channels as well as some of the more "standard" commercial channels. Regardless of which radio you choose, it needs to run on the 460mhz range to be programmable to FRS/GMRS channels.
  14. Depending on what size you are, the JPC's aren't hard to get. Specifically, my small CB got to me in less than a month.
  15. I ordered my small JPC in CB in late February and had it about a month later, so depending on the size and color options you're after there may be less of a wait. Does anyone with the Tyr hydro pouch have suggestions for a bladder? Is there anything that fits perfectly, or is it going to need to be "close enough"?
  16. How effective are they as actual NODs?
  17. This is some new stuff I've gotten in recently: o Crye JPC o Crye MBITR Pouch Set o Crye Suspenders o Tyr Tactical Small Hydration Pouch o 3x Tyr M4 Mag Pouches o Tyr Motorola XTS Radio Pouch o Tyr Micro SOF IFAK, Velcro Cutaway o 3x ITW FastMags o Hard Point Low-pro Underbelt o ATTACK! Master Riggers Belt o ATTACK! AirOps Personal Retention Lanyard MOD 11 o CTOMS Slimline CFAK o BFG 10-Speed Helium Whisper Triple Mag Pouch o 2x ITW GrimLock o Tru-Spec TRU Combat Shirt o TPC Raids BDU Trousers This picture is still missing the comms gear I picked up too. o 2x Na
  18. I need to find someone who can get a discount for me on the LEAF stuff...
  19. Genome, look three posts above yours.
  20. I also have a JPC with the 10-Speed Helium Whisper. Though I haven't used it in the field, the 10-Speed doesn't bind up the kangaroo pouch at all in wearing/testing around the house. That said, I'm not sold that the 10-Speed is the best pouch for me, as it's a little tighter than I'd prefer and putting mags back in isn't as easy as a non collapsing pouch. I also tried putting three FastMags on the front of the built in kangaroo pouch and found that those did tighten up the internal pouch a tiny bit, but not enough to enough to hinder taking out or putting in the mags. They are also jus
  21. I ordered everything on my list in the past two days. Crye has told me March at the earliest for the JPC & MBITR Pouch Set, Tyr has told me up to 30 days for all of the pouches I ordered from them, and most everything else should be on its way to me in the next few days. Edit: The most expensive piece was the CTOM Mini SOF IFAK, shipping from Canada was a killer.
  22. From what I've been told, you're looking at a 10 week minimum to get a JPC from anywhere that doesn't already have it in stock, which is why they're going for $400+, sans soft armor, on eBay right now (at least I just saw one go for that). I've also been told, by others, that the MBITR pouch is easy if you order from Crye, but you're looking at a different waiting period. I'm looking to go the JPC route too, besides the 10 Speed Triple, I'm also thinking 3 FastMags (to swap with the 10 Speed), CTOMS Slimline CFAK (use as storage), Tyr Micro SOF IFAK - Velcro Cutaway (actual IFAK), Tyr Tac
  23. Does the muzzle end of the holster for your M9 get in the way of drawing mags from the 2nd pouch from the right (weakside)?
