No good camera on hand, but here's today's arrival. Thinking of a black slide and grips next.

Here's a peek at what's coming for my rifle. Remember that a few days ago this thing was 100% plain. Let me just say that there's a lot of Magpul on the way...classes start in one week so this should keep me busy until then.

New rig, new TM 1911, many magpul parts, and CQBR barrel inbound!

What Magpul stuff could I put on it? Hm...my RVG could go on the rail. Maybe an XTM for the lulz.

Sellotape a CTR stock to the slide or something, just to annoy people. It's all for the lulz.

Hopefully I'll have a MOE stock in my possession soon and I'm all for that.

Well here it is with the "stuff" on it. After seeing a gun on another classifieds, I got an idea for a CQB rifle I'd like. Makes me mad that I sold that nice Madbull Noveske KFH amplifier. Teaches me to sell stuff I'm not using immediately. As for the stock I'd like a MOE stock eventually but I'm not using lipos yet so I need the storage space. Here's the PMG mockup:

Oh Chris, my hero! Actually in that pic I had yet to tighten up the flatheads and grub screws. There is no gap now. Good lookin' out though. I like owning a KAC too. It takes like 10 minutes to switch it all out if I want to change the look. How do you all like the Omega Rail vs. the DD RIS II?

They can but not straight off the bat, they need fiddling and fitting to do. Personally i would just Krylon the plastic one as that way you keep the reliability of the plastic slide in a colour you want.
Plus Guarder do make a slide for the 4.3 Warrior, or at least did for the Desert Warrior. -
I'm not planning on doing anything to it yet, but for consideration in the future, you said it's an MEU body? If I got a 5.1" barrel, could I transplant everything into something like a metal MEU complete kit?

As the MEU is a bushing barrel then not without a fair bit of customization. Too much to put here so if you want PM me instead and i will answer there.

Something funny happening. When I search the classifieds through a basic or advanced search, the search only seems to look through an index of topic titles and not content even if I tell it to look through content ONLY and NOT titles. Searching is now very difficult especially in the bulk section.

13 hour shift, no big deal.

Yeah yeah. I'm a contractor and a janitor when I'm not at university so I spent half the day painting outside in the 105'F heat and the other half mopping.

Ha! Mines nearly 18 hours. As a bum though.

Finally...home...now to sleep then go back to painting tomorrow! Off for a weekend at the lake after that to fish and jetski. Thank the lord.
