Some candid (and the only) shots of me from yesterday's games. I'm the one on the right, and my mates are the ones who are a little under-dressed. It was hot as hell though; 110' F and humidity in the high seventy percents. Absolutely brutal on everyone. -
Good game today; 5+ KIAs and 2 deaths. The 110' heat index on the other hand hurt everyone. I can't wait for winter; cool weather and less of the immiture kids.

Changed the M4 up a lot. Now the question is if I should dust it all in Khaki.

Well here's my M4 again. The 10.5" barrel was two piece and the grub screw finally stripped, so the barrel had so much wobble that it was unusable. I put the original in and replaced the DD Omega 9" for a CA 7" KAC RIS for the Block I look. It's really comfortable and fun to use right now. I'm awaiting Troy sights, the rear of which will be used on this rifle, and a G&P Aimpoint. I loved having my rifle in a CQB setup, but I think I'll wait and buy a Block II upper down the road and use this as a general rifle, possible a DMR if I choose to put a tightbore all the way to the end of

So much for my CQBR barrel...it was nice knowing you. Back to 14.5". Time to decide if I want to get a new one or start a DMR project.

Due to laws here in the states our can's can't actually function, so unfortunately it doesn't do a lot. I love how it's looking too. I need to find a used M2 it seems.

It's a G&P, which I never had problems with until the (plastic) cam that adjusts the vertical orientation of the reticule got stripped so it no longer functions. It's essentially useless unless I got another matching part. At this point I just want to find another, especially a 553 or an XPS with trades...that'd be beautiful.

Newest iteration of my gun. Now I know it's missing iron sights, but they're in the mail after my last ones broke. I've got a Classic Army KAC RIS on the way, so I'm temporarily (TEMPORARILY, Hwagan) going to take the Omega rail off and replace it with the 7" RIS and the original front sight post. There's something about having a flip up rear iron and a permanent front post that I like. Sure it's a bit of work to keep changing, but that's what I love about airsoft. I have tech work I can do between games and if my aesthetic interests change, I can adapt. The new suppressor gives the front

If you want cheap and cheerful, then I found the D-Boys KAC style RIS to be a great value piece of kit. Should go on your G&P upper without any hassle.

I'll check into it; I'm awaiting a return PM tonight from a guy on ASB for a Classic Army KAC style RIS for a good price.

American for sure. Went in looking like cookie dough, came out flaky. Still kinda good though..I think I got distracted putting ingredients in and forgot a teaspoon of something...or a cup.

MY 551 LIVES!

It currently has a phillips head machine screw as a thumbscrew, but it works.
The cam that moved the LED up/down was stuck so I had no vertical adjustment. Now that it's better I'll drop some loctite in the hole and put the original screw in.

Replica 551s are terrible. I have spent countless hours fixing it. 551s also eat battery very fast.

Mine's never had a battery problem, and this is the first G&P one I've ever had a problem with. Thank goodness for my father, who helped me diagnose my problem quickly.
Problem is, I've been eyeing some replica Aimpoints and want one now...
