Got to fire a JG AUG yesterday...nice gun, but not a fan of the creaky trigger pull.

I've had two of those. . .If you're thinking of buying, just be careful you don't get a bb stuck inside your gearbox and strip everything. (surprisingly easy to do)

I'm not. My friend bought one; I'm pretty strictly a black rifle person. The gun was real cool, I just didn't like the girth and the creaking when I fired. It's not the actual AUG firing action, just the trigger itself. Thing was pretty loud, though. Firing too hot out of the box.

Thanks man, I think it looks better too. I like how it just gets dirty from rolling around in brush and it looks a little classier. I want to someday get a 16" front front end/upper and make a DMR configuration. Now waiting for my suppressor. Also, I really need rail covers, but I can't decide on KAC style vs. Magpul XTMs. You could sell the Omega to another G&P owner. Unfortunately so few rails fit on with their "realistic" delta ring, and furthermore a lot of barrel nuts don't match the threading on the upper.

Well I made some changes. I really, really liked my A-TACS painting, but not on an M4...I feel that it needs to be all of nothing when it comes to patterns on guns. I decided to let natural dirt and dust be my covering, so after a little use yesterday my gun is nice and dusted and used again instead of mix-matched. I'm painting a customer's AUG A3 completely in A-TACS except for the barrel assembly and RIS soon, so I'll get another shot at it. It's not loadout-specific; I usually just go for a random Special Forces civvie/PMC loadout, so for now it's sort of a mean-*albatross* SMG

Dropped the idea of a holo magnifier...just ordered the 2011 Madbull Gemtech HALO.

A review of the 2007 version here says it weighed a hefty 20oz...Madbull advertises the new one at 7.5.

The first version might have been heavy, but it's undoubtedly the most effective suppressor i've ever had on an AEG... But yeah, way too heavy.

"Effective" isn't a big deal here in the states since our version has no foam for legal issues. It's just a bigass can.

So here's mine with my new editions: a TSD Gear Sector hand stop, and finally, a gas block. Indoor pics because of the rain and hail today. Not worth getting clobbered in the head. Problem I've noticed is that the Madbull DD Omega rail's rails are too wide for both the hand stop and my Magpul RVG...I had to get larger screws for the RVG, and had to use a dremel/mallet to get that damn hand stop on. Rail covers have fit fine, but I'm worried I'll get a more rigid rail cover someday and it won't fit.

Wow, some people are a tad too quick on analysis of mere jokes. Nobody reads these except those who I consider friends, but if molehills be mountains then I hope everyone's pleased.

Not when you realize that they were the source of all the problems that had arisen. Quite frustrating when you didn't see it in time to save you time, especially when they come damn close to stopping you from getting pulled pork.

Not quite sure what other method there is other than a public way to explain it, and it's not like I'm disturbing anyone's peace by writing this. If someone reads it, so be it. I do respect your opinion though.

After WAY too much Army of Two, my buddy decided to see what we could zip tie to his M4...with great results. Screwdriver and foregrip? Sure. Later we ended up attaching Nerf swords, a ping pong paddle, and a ladle. He's doing an undercover border patrol loadout in these pictures.
