CAG M4 MRE.

The helmet mount is not VIO made but by a brand called Nukeproof. It is secured to the helmet velcro by some special kind of super strong 3M velcroish material.
-
Yup, as Pkekyo-Nor says that's a VIO POV, and as far as I know it is what is used by US armed forces (They're apparently on government contract). It's pretty nice
-
Do you use anything to cover the lens Seraphein? I've known quite a few people who's camera lenses have gotten shot out in game thats why.
Yeah, secured to the mount with two screws is a thick exchangable Lexan plate which should keep it safe

My helmet got an update, haven't seen many helmet cams in this thread so far so thought it might be worth posting

Is the reason for seeking out the pre MSA paraclete items because they are better built or because they have figurative black buckles?
Because it is generally better built. When MSA took over they started producing on a larger scale in larger factories, and as a result the quality of the pre-MSA items are often much better and are made of 1000D cordura instead of 500D. Besides, the pre-MSA often feature variations in color not found on the newer, standardized MSA items.

Here are some pictures of my Delta team

Cool place, can't really see the point about those blue lights switched on your SF helmet lights though... As for the confederate flag, you earlier stated it was aesthetical, but I think it just brings a lot of PD to your rig, even if it isn't intended to be an impression.
That aside, cool photos and location.

Nice one mate! Did you manage to fix the NVG?
Got some of the parts I was missing the other day, just missing a few more parts now and then they're up and running
-
Looks good. I prefer the 553 to be honest.
Thanks!
Well the 551 is more accurate for the impression, that's why I'm changing.
-
Here's the MRE for my CAG impression.
Built from a PTW base. Just need to switch the 553 for a 551 but I'll post these images anyway
-
Epic CAG lid dude. Probably the best I've seen. Especially with teh real ANVIS.
Thanks man!
-
Posted this in another thread but it seems this is where it should have been in the first place. Sorry for the misplacement.

Thanks man
Oh, and mamba: that's a really nice piece, but pleeease remove the picture with it in the MEU box, it ruins it all

Seraphein, that pistol is PERFECT!
Hehe, thanks man

Fantastic looking 1911 there 'Seraphein' outstanding
More pics please
How did you find Nova parts for fit? Ive found them to be sloppy and loose Though im not using metal frames and slides.
Thank you!
I actually find them to fit quite perfectly. No wobble whatsoever... but if you don't use metal frame and slide that might be the problem as their products are tailor made for each other. I always think it is best to stick to one manufacturer as far as possible, for that exact reason. That way you're guaranteed a perfect fit. So, go get one of their conversion kits now

Here are side views for you.
As for other angles, I'll be doing them soon.

What are the markings on the SD chamber?
I went for a blank chamber, to keep it nice and simple. Seeing that the gun is obviously made from a Springfield base it would be logical to assume there were SA markings on the chamber but then again Vickers is known not to leave too many marks on his custom work. After weighing the two options, I fell for the clean and simple one.
I'll be taking a few more pictures in a while, stay tuned for updates

I'm slightly curious to know why most people when attempting a CAG/Delta 1911 opt for this style of 1911?
Obviously I'm aware of the link between Larry Vickers and Delta but it seems many people going for the CAG look have similar pistols. I know many Delta operators use a 1911 but are there pictures out there that suggest they go for this style of 1911?
Thanks for the praise, I'm glad you like it!
To be honest I'm not aware of what kind of 1911 other people attempting CAG impressions choose. I did some research on different 1911's including Wilson Combat, Nighthawk and Kimber as well as private custom shops but when I saw gun in the inspirational photograph I fell for it. Seeing that Vickers is a most respected gunsmith as well as the fact that he has made several pistols for and even trained Delta operators in small arms technique after his retirement from the unit made it an obvious choice. Photographic evidence is pretty much nonexistent however, as it is pretty much impossible to tell in detail what kind of 1911 are used. Besides, it varies from operator to operator since the 1911 is bought through a grant the operator receives when antering the unit. So, it is nothing issued at all; it is very much OP.
