  1. When it worked, I DID enjoy using it, but so far I have only been able to run it in ONE game.
  2. DOH, Spoke too soon, gun is in operable again. Took it out after work to zero and adjust and with none of my batteries could I get the gun to operate, micro switch clicks but gun does not function. But to much credit for my local dealer (Strikeforce Sports) if they can't get it operating tomorrow then they will swap it out for another one, and PTS will be getting some nasty reports back to them about the quality of the guns.
  3. Yes, Overall I'm on the fence with MASADA, we'll see if it makes it through its first game with the new trigger switch this weekend.
  4. More PTS woes, just picked up my Folding Stock and it doesn't fit, ran back to the shop and we tried three different stocks in two different guns and on all of them the upper pin hole is too far back, and prevents the upper pin from locking down into place. Thats really *suitcasey*.
  5. Not a brit kit impression I just like DDPM. Need boots still, and a holster plus a few more odds and ends. Operationally guarding the kitchen operation in relaxed operation mode.
  6. Got my MASADA back tonight, can't wait to run it in a skirmish. And once again a huge thanks to the staff at Strikeforce Sports for getting the job done, also they will be getting the Folding Stocks in early next week so by this time next week I'll have one on my MASADA ready for my next Skirmish. Ready to rock.
  7. I'll just leave this here sorry for the poor picture quality. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  8. Here's my new bang stick, its a just a plain old G&G Combat Machine M4. with RS Magpul Midlength MOE. Fitting it was fun, but its solid and I love it, needs a MOE stock, bottom rail and AFG, and a side rail for a light and I'm set. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  9. Magpul does not actually warranty the guns they do so through their local agent which is Spartan Imports and they prefer to go through your dealer that sold the gun, if Spartan is shipping the switch then it is covered by the warranty.
  10. I don't think they have the same style of micro-switch as what comes in the MASADA, but so far you'd have one the few known broken trigger micro-switches, expect a LONG wait for parts.
  11. Lol, can't wait to see them selling "replacement" fixed stocks for 70. Also *fruitcage*YEAH my parts came into Spartan today, hoping to have the gun up and ready to rock by my next game on the 18th.
  12. I have to stop reading this thread, makes me get more upset about mine not working.
  13. Most US outdoor fields are around that, my local is 400 with a .25.
  14. what brand LaRue Stealth kit is that?
  15. To those that have tinkered with the gearbox on the MASADA is the cutoff lever a standard design? And when fitting the box into the lower did you need to depress the trigger any?
  16. My dissapointment stems from PTS' lackluster warranty support and from Spartan Imports ever changing story about how and when my gun will be fixed. As of last night the parts MIGHT be 6 weeks away, but they cannot confirm wether the parts are in that shipment, and so far are resistant to the idea of swapping the gun out for me with a working one.
  17. Well so far in terms of absolute failures while running a proper voltage and discharge rate battery, my gun is the only one to exhibit the kind of disappointment that people seem to get the impression of plaguing the MASADA. So 1 gun out of 3000 (Although Spartan Imports tells me the number is FAR lower) isn't too bad, but still I expect more from PTS.
  18. The problem is that GI most likely doesn't have the parts in and neither does Spartan Imports (the wholesaler) so yes for us in the states its a multi-week wait just to get the parts.
  19. I think it has been proven many times that stock the MASADA cannot handle an 11.1v LiPo, and that using one it is a good way to destroy the piston.
  20. Gave Spartan a call five to nine WEEKS before my dealer gets the parts, I'm not happy, I'm thinking of selling mine once the parts are in.
  21. True there are at this point thousands of these guns in players hands all accross the world and we mostly hear about guns when things go wrong with them.
  22. I sternly convinced Spartan to do the repairs at my local dealer due to the shipping costs, but since the claim was put in (Last Friday) and a course of action confirmed (Monday) my gun's repairs are still TBA with no indication other than "some time" from Spartan. I'm keeping a running tally of games I haven't been able to use the gun in or haven't wanted to go to because I won't be able to use it, so far its 2.
  23. I'll be picking mine up in person so I will be able to confirm that it does, and when I'd down there next I'll inform the staff at Strikeforce of the issue so they can weed out any that do and send them back prior to a customer purchasing them.
  24. Yes the folding stock is Seven position adjustable, can't wait for mine to come in and for my bloody gun to be fixed, going to wait until Friday to give Spartan another call and find out when my trigger parts are coming in, so far I am not impressed with the warranty process here in the states, I hope those abroad are given better service by the local importers than I have been by Spartan.
  25. While it is good that they ARE covering the work, the ETA on when Spartan can get the parts and ship them to StrikeForce is still unknown.
