  1. Watch out this guy doesn't use a safety!

  2. This guy is awsome, I should know.

  3. so...do...I On a more topical note- I love this gun just saw used by British forces on T.V. Hurrah
  4. I'm getting mine in a lovely bright purple from action hobbies when I can afford it.
  5. I've 'fixed' mine, and if I can do it anyone can (I'm 16, this is my first AEG, I have no experience taking AEGs apart nor does anyone I know, so as you can see I am a noob). All I did was remove the blowback (use the pdf file found below) and remove one of the teeth from the piston (also simple, and details can be found in this thread) So far this has meant nothing has broken after around 3000rnds and the semi-auto is more, but not completely, reliable. The SUSAT fits although its a bit of a challenge. P.S. Inkworm, disabling the blowback locks it in the forward position http://w
  6. Boo! Hiss! 'tis a good gun. I seriously doubt that you're British
  7. Could someone post a link to replacement parts that are known to work. i.e. piston, piston head. Thanks,
  8. I'm not completely sure my plague but I'm pretty sure that if it breaks bits fall out and can damage the gun, the pdf file in this thread a few pages back says that one problem is likely to knock out a load of parts. If I were you I'd remove it anyway it very simple to do. (also it is hard to get responses)
  9. How essential is the new sector gear, piston and piston head? I have disabled the blowback and tinkered inside. Has anyone experienced the piston breaking on the R85 or is it just people being cautious because it breaks on the G&G? I know for fact that the semi-auto/ auto switch doesn't work well but it won't break, will it?
  10. Hi, Just got mine from Hong Kong, it works, however the magazine cannot be fixed in place without removing the rear THM locking pin. I've searched the forums but couldn't find any detailed solutions to rectify the problem. I'd appreciate a bit of help as this is my first AEG.
