  1. If - like me - you have an unusual length of RIS to cover you'll know that normal one-piece rail cover strips just don't look right. If your RIS is rather long or rather short you'll want to use a modular rail cover system so that it fits just right. The current options for modular systems are either to cut or join together a ladder system or buy one of the expensive true modular covers sets like the Magpul or LaRue segmented cover packs. But I went for a cheap DBoys system which is rather nice looking and works very well - the Dragon Scales rail covers. In each pack you get 10 cover

  3. OK - maybe this isn't strictly 'tactical equipment' - but it surely is something that many of you may want to consider packing into that tactical bag! (If you can think of a better section of the forum for stuff like this - let me know.) The PBS-1 cost me $53usd (inc. shipping) from Ebaybanned.com - and is available at several other Hong Kong retailers. In brief this is a superb bit of kit - all be it a dummy non-functioning one. The build quality is excellent, though the steel makes it very heavy. But there is also an aluminum version available by the same company. Funnily enough they are exactly the same price from RSOV and other Hong Kong suppliers! (I like the
  6. I noticed this appear on Arnie's news summary of parts now available at CRW AIrsoft, and as I received my rail about a week or so ago I thought I would make some comments...First of all, lets look at what we are talking about: This is the EB made CNC rail for the AK74U AEG - I got mine from North East Tactical (UK) For those of you, like myself, who fancied a 'mini-tactical AK' based on their Kalash or CYMA or even VFC AK shorty, then this rail system would seem to be a fairly good way to bling out that AK74U. However, I do have a warning! I am not sure which variety of AK
