Have you checked motor conection?I have a similar problem and there was the fault.

Now,my sa80 doesn´t has semi. The ROF, more or less, is the same. I eliminated the 2on teeth from my piston and now it works fine.I have noticed that if you put the hopup in the maximum position, the piston´s problem increase (the noise) and if you use silicon oil in the hopup,the piston´s problem disappear. The spring is the original.

Hi, I tried to install a mosfet on my SA80 with the original wires and I couldnt.I don´t know why but I couldn´t.There was too many wires and it seems that this gear is different to an V2 or V3. At the end, I eliminated all the wires and I install the mosfet.The semi has been cancelled. Excuse me by my English.I´m from Spain

Hi I only want to say that I have change the original nozzle of my sa80 by an ICS ´s nozzle from a MP5 and ,although the FPS go down, I have got improve the accuracy.This nozzle is shorter than the original. Regards

If you have low FPS with the new piston,If I were you, I´ll clean perfectly the piston head and then , I´ll lube it with a little silicone grease.A LITTLE only.

I suppose you are still using the original gear (modified) , don´t you? I told you this cos´I installed an element sector gear and them,the semi don´t works.Only fire in auto.If you modified the original sector gear,I think,the semi doesn´t works fine, but at least,sometimes, it works. I would like to ask you, if you know, if in the piston of 16 tooths that you are now using in your SA80, the second tooth has been remove to reduce the risk of premature engagement. Thanks

Does anybody tried to install a shorter barrel in his SA80 army? I only can say that i have done and now, my SA80 works better. First, I installed a Systema barrel and I didn´t get a good performance.Then , I cut the barrel and...it seems magic.Now , it works very well.

Both things,rubber and hopup unit and the result is the same.I must say that when I only changed the rubber,i could appreciate a better work in my gun,but with the G&P hopup unit, nothing.

I have changed the original chamber hopup of my sa80 Army and I bought a G&P chamber hopup unit.This unit fit perfectly in my SA80, but I cant see that my gun works better with it, so I not sure you must spend your money on it.
