  1. As the classic army SA58 took a Sig type hopup do you think/know if the QP version can also take one?

  5. The sniper version is designed for a 650mm barrel as a shorter one may rattle around in the outer barrel as it narrows internally near the tip. As an aside, my 500mm Action ras kit didn't have a hole in the front for the sling loop that you have to remove, but the sniper one did. However the sniper version ras has over size holes for the top rail. Needless to say I was far from impressed.
  6. Oh right so the screw thread is on the actual catch bit and not the button? Time to get ordering my ambi-mag catch then.
  7. Yay cookie! Also I do think you're right and there is a blanking plate over the screw on the mag release. I'm planning on dropping in a CA gearbox into it so I will have to confirm it by then. Or replace it with a nice ambi-mag catch.
  8. Are you sure the ris is too short? On mine one of the rails sits higher than the others so I figured that was the one on top and it's pretty much the same height as the rail on the body.
  9. Yeah, I read your thread about the delta ring threading being different, but when I got mine it went on just fine. I did need to use a wrench to tighten it on due to the paint thickness, but essentially it fit like a glove. At the moment I'm shopping round for a 9.6v nun-chuck pack as my small batteries are a little too big. Where did you get yours from?
  10. Egg-sactly, the delta ring did kind fit on it but the CASV pushed the top of it so it looked a bit slanted. So instead of getting the dremel out of the cold shed I just took off the outer bit and spring from the delta ring seeing as I didn't really need those parts. It kinda bugged me at first, but now I'm getting used to it. Oh and as for the reciever it is normally that dark as it's one of the newer versions I believe. The only niggling thing now is having to get a nun-chuck battery as the small ones I have put too much pressure up on the barrel when I close the bottom of the CASV. Anyo
  11. Its not backwards its a Simmons 1.5x-5x scope review here I love the stubbyness of it whilst still staying fairly accurate.
  12. Zing! My ICS M4 with a King arms casv. The CASV was a small nightmare to fit on. But I love it now.
  13. Uh oh.... I like her, she's very quiet compared to my ICS M4. Includes:- King Arms lightweight phantom kit Madbull 455mm tightbore Gearbox running at 1 Joule-ish with a silent head kit Very good for playing sneaky buggers with.
  14. After much swearing and head scratching, she's finished.
