+1 for Garand video! edit: kamowa, what was the temperature when you were filming? The recoil seems pretty good, most viewably in the shot where you are firing one-handed from the chair rest.

I am looking at how the gas fill is situated on the bottom of the gun. I think an external air conversion may be possible with a simple fitting similar to the ones for KWC gas mags. (Like this one):
  3. +1 for cool video! The outside one has a cool look to it, like the beginning of a movie or something..
  4. Nice Redhawks, Redhawk! Speaking of revolvers. Man, I want one of those new Marushin Super Blackhawks..
  5. Hey glad to hear that! I was wondering how the Grand National was doing! That WA Jatimatic is cool! Snowman, that Beretta M12S is awesome. It does deserve more love!
  6. I really wish they still made them! Indeed it can. But not very well. I got a box of once-fired 9mm brass, and have shot it a few times with that, but I have stopped using them, because they were causing quite a lot of jams. The plastic shells have a larger extractor groove than the real thing, and also the weight difference makes the real brass not eject as well as the plastic. I don't want to risk any more real brass jams in the delicate mechanism of this gun, so the few times I shoot it now I use the plastic ones, then scrounge them up, counting them, in fear of losing on
  7. My (circa 1991 or so I think) Tokyo Marui Gas Blowback Shell-Ejecting MP5A3. For those that are not familiar with it, this gun has basically the same externals as the TM springer, it's all plastic. Not a great replica, but fun to shoot because of the shell-ejecting feature.
  8. Honor system. Erm, I mean Honour system. UK users are not denied access to the Madbull 470 area. So, again, the precedent is set already...
  9. Madbull does have a special section for discussion of the model 470, so the precedent is set that this forum can allow things beyond UK rules. Perhaps there are enough US members here to warrant a small 'USA Tech' section under the current technical discussion forum?
  10. LOL. This thread is linked from the RealCap project page. The Revolution mags are plastic. Marui low-caps are metal. -WMH
  11. I really enjoy the RSS feed Arnie! Actually, it's about the only reason I use RSS. -WMH
  12. from SilkTide site: The Disabilities Discrimination Act makes most British websites unlawful from the 1st October 2004. The Act makes it "unlawful for a service provider to discriminate against a disabled person by refusing to provide any service which it provides to members of the public", specifically mentioning websites. Indeed, this is silly! This was covered well by Microsoft years ago in their developer stuff; at one time it appeared that if ones software was not accessible enough the maker could be liable. Accessiblity here means for folks that can't see, speech synthesi
  13. Well, I hope that you'll consider letting your team members use the method in my article with the screw mod, and not have to dissasemble the inner mag -- so much easier! -WMH
  14. Righto, if it's kept in a special section it would be cool. I have the 'Guns Digest 2005' annual (in Japanese), and they also have a big section on modelguns, so really it makes sense to have them here too I guess. At least I'll be able to read the text and understand what is what here! My point is just that it might get a little frustrating if they got jumbled together. For the record, I have nothing against modelguns! In fact, I wish that there were more airsoft guns oriented towards the hobbiest (as opposed to the skirmisher) like the modelguns, with more realism and shell-ej
  15. I would personally prefer that arniesairsoft.co.uk stick to airsoft... -WMH
