I think you guys made it even harder for me to decide now. lol. I thought the guarder kits weren't that good, but now.... I do like how the pgc kits come with the barrel and recoil spring.

I love the simplicity if that gun guinness. So, how is the fitting of the guarder kits. Lots of filing and sanding like I had to do with my guarder slide? If there is I just might go pgc if they fit perfect.

LOL. Thats a nice mbk but i'm leaning more towards the sfa kit. But then again not many people have the series 70 kit. I shouldn't even ask this but what about the guarder kits. Their 'cheap' even from US retailers. I'm not buying an mbk until I sell my WE though.

Thanks guys. Thats looking like a nice gun RockDog. How is the nine ball recoil rod. I might get that one for my TM. Thanks, I was surprised at how good it looked too. I love full length recoil rods on 1911's. I haven't tried swapping the blowback chambers but the WE bareel and other guts don't work in the guarder slide. The recoil spring bushing doesn't fit and the barrel bushing wont work because the slide doesn't have notch to lock the bushing.

Put the bull barrel and guide rod setup from my hi-capa on my WE.

I think some of them look good. Someone should try to build one. Has anybody used Alumarips. I'm thinking of getting some clear anodized ones for my TM.

Yup, the grips are Pachmayr American Legends. I got them from here, but I don't know if you guys in the UK can order from them. Cheap though about $22. I just realized when I posted those pics the Hitman movie came out that same day. lol.

More pictures of the hi-capa, again. Anyways, I'm planning on turning it into a Springfield V12. Cant' figure out if I should go with the silver SD V12 slide or go with the two tone one. Kinda leaning towards silver slide with silver controls and trigger/hammer.

Didn't get a chance to fire it, I'll see how that goes tonight. It was really loose and rattled when I shook it though. I'm thinking of putting my polished WE trigger on it.

Technically not a 1911 but its close enough. TM hi-capa with TK grip and a WE M1911 slide.

They feel amazing. It sort of has a mate finish to it, not shiny and smooth like the stock grip. Frankenstein gun. TM hi-capa with TK grip and a WE slide.
