Phil has the best M4s. They also run perfectly - I have the welts to prove it.

Let me know if you've got one for sale. Preferably wood but black polymer is also okay. Help me spend my birthday present!

1. m1911 which I still kick myself for selling.
2. MEU that looks amazing in a Guarder FBI kit.
3. FN5-7. Best pistol I've ever owned. Added a Guarder reinforced slide and it's a demon.

ATM I cannot find any reviews other than some PR stuff on YouTube. But it looks blooming gorgeous and if I had the money.... https://www.airsoftworld.net/northeast-airsoft-sten-mk-v-gbb-airsoft-rifle-all-steel-with-wood-stock-grips-pre-order.html

Cheers guys - it's the leaf spring I think. The pistol is firing 9/10 so I'll leave it for now - fitting the dual safety was one big PITA I don't want to go through again.
-
This has me stumped - I have a TM MEU in a Guarder frame that I've been gradually upgrading. Installed a new trigger and all was good, installed an new hammer and it was sticking so dropped that out, popped in the original and all seemed okay but...
Now when I pull the trigger, the pistol clicks but does not fire. If I release my grip, squeeze and pull the trigger then eventually it will fire but only once.
Any ideas? I have a feeling it may be something to do with the sear spring but out of ideas and don't want to strip it again until I know what the problem is.

After a 5-6 year hiatus I am back here on the forum.
I am keen to find out what has changed in the meantime - I'm guessing airsoft guns are hydrogen fuel cell powered these days and fire vegan friendly rounds?
Have any manufacturers gotten round to making a Thompson with a 'proper' M1928 style receiver?
The King Arms M1928 is proper - right dimensions and engraving etc. I love mine. http://www.kingarms.com/product_detail.php?id=260
Oh and I joined about ten years ago but don't skirmish ATM.

Page three and no mention of the Hi Capa's in Torchwood yet? Most the guns in Torchwood/Doctor Who are airsoft, iirc WOlf Armouries supplied then as they do many they productions.
All the prop guns in that awful Alien Vs Predator movie were airsoft replicas, supplied by Wolf.

Couple of finished commissions
WHERE can I get those helms and armour? Very cool!
-
Thank you fellas .. It is ..
i'm sad I have to let it go!
this and all the other guns !
Wolf
What are you selling and when Wolf? There's a lot of players / collectors here who'd crawl over glass to get hold of one of your collection!

Yup always fancied one , made a nice bundle of beer tokens at the NAE last wk and thought f**k it I'm getting it and yes the fact that Napoleon uses one DID have a bareing on my decision ! Love that film !!
But well happy with its doing 318fps on point 25s and I can get a 9.9 1300 in it so it has a fruity little rate too it !
Luckily the S&T Sterling has the easiest QC spring set up I've seen - 2mins and your under 350. Or well over
Mine came with a spring that looked like it doubled as truck suspension... !

Does anyone know where I can pick up a proper, TM'd pistol case for a PPQ / P99 from?
-
Regarding the lower fps valve, does we Europe sell them separately?
Have a word with JD Airsoft - last time I was in there, Phil (owner) said that all the WE GBB rifles now come with a red valve / BBU that keeps FPS below 350. Apparently WE had a lot of issues with buyers wanting downgrades / stuffing things ups with DIY 'fixes'.

Darn it! Just when I'm dropping all my modern (dull=rails) kit, WE do this... Will wait for for the Euro version (lower FPS valve as std these days, chaps) and them possibly get the 90s black kit out of the loft.

I've checked all their shipping policies and cannot see anything that says they won't ship to the UK. In fact, during the order process they state that shipping to the UK needs UKARA.
I can get the gun elsewhere but (a) it's 30% more and (
they don't have the mags so I'll still end up paying fat postage from the US whatever.
Emailed Evike but <fruit> all back from them so far.
-
Just had an order bounced and refunded by Evike because it's "against UK customs rules" or something. It's just an AEG and I've shipped stuff in from the US before...
What the <fruit> is going on? Gave them my UKARA and as they offer a 2tone service they must ship guns to the UK. They refunded the PP account but I still want the gun.
Should I take this personally or does anyone from Evike use this forum?
-
Anyone used these guys and if so:
Do I need to have the parcel with my UKARA writ large upon it to clear UK customs?
As they're in the EU will I get stung with any import charges?
How quick is their Free Shipping?
Cheers!

BTW, how do you shop for holsters for railed 1911s? different brands seems to have different rail...
Blackhawk Serpa holsters fit my 1911s - all either TM or TM clones. The ACM copies of the serpa's also work but can be a little tight at first and they're dirt cheap. Other than that, all mine fit into WW2 US and UK holsters.

DAMN YOU MAN! YOU ARE COSTING ME MONEY!!!
You should try playing with / against him: Phil costs us all money! He has all the best toys!
-
That would be pretty sweet. I was are of the steel PPQ but didn't know about the possibility for others.
I'd be interested to see how a steel PPQ slide performs. Mine is a nice pistol but the blowback doesn't feel strong enough to cope with a heavier slide. C02 mags would make a difference.
-
Nice. Pure old skool AR carbine.
-
Hell Yeah! CQB on the 'morrow and it's pistols all the way. Got a PPQ to christen
-
Will the ERG bodies take a std barrel nut? Want an ERG but would need to swap the hand guard for something a little more funky.

Teeny tiny bit of a necro post here, but does anyone know if this cylinder timing problem was an isolated issue or if they're all naff?
Can't find any info on them or the Cybergun ones selling in the UK.
Cheers!
JD Airsoft were selling them at the Fireball Weekender. They're a trifle hot for the UK but the Dan Wesson powerdown shells do fit. Can't say what they chrono at.

I bought this on the recommendation of a team mate and I'm very impressed. Solid build, holds zero and looks the part https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B016KSA56E/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
