  1. The silencers aren't available yet. When they are, you could add the extra barrel I guess but I love mine as a back-up / CQB only.

Also - in case it's not posted elsewhere on this thread - always make sure that the gun is cocked / slide locked back when you drop a mag in. Top tip from a pal who's seen the pin knocked of the chamber if you don't do this.

  2. I got a TM MEU mag for £24. Hope to test it soon, as my signature says, I need a Serpa for it.

Yours for $15. I have two and they're not bad although the Black looks better than the Tan.

  3. If you find mags falling out due to the release being pressed down, blame the holster. I've never had any of my mags come out unless I wanted them to.

Totally agree. Had issues with Viper, Warrior and ACM holsters. Basically anything with any flex in it seemed to whack the FNs large release catch. Cue yours truly searching bushes for pricey TM mags! No issues since I moved to a Blackhawk Serpa, which I recommend highly.

  4. Well the stuff finally arrived:

Magpul pistol grip was some shiny ###### and in no way Magpul

Rail covers ditto and they snapped when I tried to fit them

Foregrip is Magpul and looks / works fine

UBR stock is a decent ACM Magpul - plastic is good but the finish on the metal work is only okay

Agreed a partial refund with the seller - never got a penny. My advice - avoid them like the plague. If they and there stuff had been any good, we'd have placed a large order by now.

Personally, I'd rather pay the extra and get my gear in the UK from now on from someone reliable like JD Airsoft.

  5. So I was looking for a few accessories - not a big order and these guys had it all in stock so I ordered about six weeks ago...

Got the tracking number, gave it a week - oh good, stuff appears to have left China.

Another week - no stuff, no UK tracking inf coming up at all.

Week three - start to chase the seller: "Goods sent. Please wait another week"

Week four - Nothing but "we will send replacement by w/end if nothing has arrived"

Week five - No new tracking number. Start dispute process via AliExpress. Rejected by supplier.

Week six - email supplier (suddenly they are using another email address BTW) and state that unless they re-ship the goods immediately, they can start discussing this with Paypal, the credit card co. and AliEpxress when I file a claim: "Oh no. We have shipping goods direct, We use EMS but no in office. We send tracking number at weekend"

Well guess what - no <fruiting> tracking number, another email from the 'new' address (Have me spoken to Customs. They keepy thing long time) and the end of my patience.

Everyone - avoid these con artists like the plague. Not only have they ripped me off but they've also put me right off using AliExpress again thus depriving honest sellers of my business.

  6. Correction - fitted the Magpul MOE grip and found that the pinion gear on the motor was somewhat chopped up. New motor now on the way. This first happened when I accidentally put a long FA burst out (am always knocking the flaming selector with my thumb!) so I suspect that a slightly incorrect motor alignment was to blame.

BTW the MOE grip is a MUCH better fit and feel than the TD. No idea why on a magpul gun, they don't fit a Magpul grip?!

Correction to the Correction... New motor fitted but still FUBAR. Suspected bevel gear issue so shipped back to my pals at Land Warrior for some TLC! Gotta love the 18m warranty they give - the new LMT will be a LWA purchase as well, I suspect!

  7. Tango down grip. G&P's version if it just seems odd when it comes to wiring within the grip and room for the motor to move. I've seen a couple of sentries with electrical issues that have disappeared once the grip has been changed; There's not really enough room for the wiring and motor to move freely as they should in the grip - Have a look at the brass thread inserts as well, if one of those is loose you should be able to sort it with a bit of loctite.

  8. Well, I did a bit of tweaking and took it out last sunday and it was running like a dream, wonderful gun, I can agree with all the praise in this thread.

However, something's come up and I have to move, and it can't come with me. I might be away from airsoft for a while, so I have to shift it somehow :/

If anyone in the UK is looking for one of these with a whole bunch of magpul stuff, a few mags and pouches, and a battery and charger, feel free to PM me. It saddens me to let it go just as I got it working like a dream, but what can you do?

Couldn't see such a lovely gun sitting unwanted in a cupboard - PM'd re: possible sale.

  9. I had my first real "issue" with my Sentry this past weekend. I put it in quotes because it's a pretty laughable problem, although still annoying.

I ran into contact, turned to fire, got off like two shots in a burst, and then heard that horrible shrieking sound you get when your motor has disengaged. Discovered that my motor had dropped off. The cause was the two hex screws in the bottom of the grip, both of which had become loose and backed out. After the game, found a hex wrench set and tightened them back up, and it's good as new – but just something to maybe look out for, guys!

I've got motor issues since switching to Lipo's - any prologed FA fire and the motor alignment shifts and she jams up. Got the adjuster plate all the way in so am going to try a new grip (think it may be the base plate screw shifting) and possibly a FET.

  10. im currently using sandpaper (1000) to gently get rid of the rust every now and then, then applying a thin layer of WD-40 with a cotton bud on the small bits such as pins... idk :S

Get yourself a Flambeau rifle case. These are real steel cases with a Kurust treatment added. Use these and your gun won't get rusty.

  11. My X800s are very comfortable and don't seem to steam up except when I use them OTG. However, the outside lense scratches incredibly easily. The vents at the top of the goggles are also covered by very thin foam and it's not impossible that a BB could fit through the gap. Very unlikely but... I save these for long games when I need to wear my glasses.

  12. Anyone got any details on silencers and extended barrels that will work with this kit?

    Thanks in advance.

There's nothing to fit a silencer to. One chap (see above) used a piece of plumbing tube for a fake one though and it looks pretty good.

Trouble with using an extended barrel of any length is that the kit is a tight fit as it is...
