  1. Thanks again Dobey for this fantastic russian SV98 replica (custom made).
  2. Tan version of the Ares Cheytac M200 sprayed with two colors; green and brown (EC Paint NFM003 and NFM005 ) and using the net technique together with the "spray and pray" good old one :
  3. @ Chas: should you need to get some parts for the M500 go here: => http://www.combathunting.com/cart.cgi?group=0&child=218 This shop is serious and is exporting to Europe without any problem.
  4. Thanks a lot for your review Guiness, you really convinced me and I do not regret one second this new acquisition. I followed your painting suggestions and I am very pleased about the end result. here is mine: One slight drawback: the hop-up unit is difficult to adjust as you have to takedown the entire barrel to have acces to the hop-up screw. Are you using top gaz or something equivalent ?
  5. @ Guinness, I am glad that you liked it. Here are a few more for the pleasure:
  6. @ Exorcist_86: I have not changed the hop-up but the bucking, this small plastic piece that looks like a piece of electric wire that push the hop-up rubber down the hop-up chamber. I've changed it by a H hop-up bucking. The advantage is that it should put an equal pressure on the rubber each (upper) side of the BB. I hope I am clear enough in this explanation. After having tried the unicorn today during a skirmish, I am fully satisfied with the hop-up. @Greatwatermelon: It seems to me that your front set, the upper and lower handguards are not fitted properly. This is certainly the reason
  7. No technical issues with mine after having followed this topic for some corrections; mainly: - bolt carrier replaced by a Guarder one - hop-up bucking changed - color of the handguards changed - weathering done here are some pics: Many thanks to you all for this very informative topic.
  8. Yes you are right, the cut is very different. The beard was just added for the picture (!!!) but I assure you this gear and the pack is 100% russian (SPLAV). I thought it was interesting to let you know that russians use to copy what is performing.
  9. A bit more "exotic" than a 100% British DPM: its cousin from Russian forces => the Kukla (smog pattern): As you could see this BDU is quite similar. Don't you think so?
