  1. My baby Hicappa, posing alongside my Sig 226... Not sure why I bothered to pose them, as my camera is rubbish, but... Only just got the damned thing working, too. It's been a royal pain for most of the time I've had it... I'm pretty sure it needs a new hammer... Uprated hammer spring I fitted to it a while back is causing damage to the pot metal frame, and I've lost the standard one... Oh well. Still not too shabby for £50 =D
  2. I get the feeling I'll never be happy with my M4... =D It always seems just a little bit off compared to all these other guns... Ah well. I suppose I'll just have to keep throwing money at it Appologies for the low quality pics, all I've got is my phone camera... At least it's better than the camera on my old phone! =D I must say, I'm loving the Element VLTOR EMod stock. comfortable and holds a battery easily! Internals: Systema Turbo DBoys Gb Shell with Element 7mm bearing Element clear red piston and some random vented piston head Element Cylinder E
  3. You'd probably have to get a two or three cell stick pack and split the cells up yourself. Or get one of the firefox LiPo's with the cells not heatshrinked together. Modding the stock to take a LiPo should be the same as modding it for any battery, presuming you want a cell in each of the tubes on the side of the stock. Also, Define Magpul stock? If it's a CTR, or is similarly shaped, you can fit a NiMh mini pack into the stock with some fiddling and modifications. It SHOULD work on other stocks than the CTR, if they are similar enough; I think at least a couple of magpul's stock are,
  4. And the fact the PMag has bullets in it, not Airsoft gubbins.
  5. "Private Jenkins was suddenly made all too aware that Private Jones had remote control of his new army-issue codpiece." Look at the guy on the far right if you don't quite get it
  6. I think I may as well stick this here.... If any of you guys have stuck your head into technical recently, you may have noticed a thread called "Stick batteries in m4 buffer tube". While the inevitable cry of "Use a crane stock!" May resound in here, but meh. If you're interested in running a decent capacity, non-LiPo pack in a buffer tube, then check it out. I've posted up my guide for getting a 7 cell mini pack into a CRT Stock - while it won't fit in a lot of common stocks (IE, it's got no chance of going in a normal sliding stock or LE style one) it may well be adaptable to other
  7. Sweet, man! LOVE the sewing machine!
  8. When I get my *albartroth* back home, I'll do a bit of fiddling with my M4 and get some photos of it taken and uploaded. Nothing special, realy, other than the fact that I've managed to figure out how to get a NiMh pack into my CRT stock >:-3 And no, I haven't got the name wrong and confused it with a crane stock or something. ACM CRT replica with an 8.4v, 1400 mAh mini pack inside it =D Won't have the staying power of my large pack in a full stock, but I'll finaly be using the damned CRT stock, so I don't realy care! Just need to get the requisite bits to bolt the stock tub
  9. Not mine, but... God DAMN it's Just too awesome! =D Can't remember where I found it, though, I just hope it wasn't this thread
  10. thats a casv set, and yes, it should. Depends what brand though, DBoys is cheap, but has some alignment issues. The KA one is likely much better, and the VLTOR one is gona be mint, but cost an assload.
  11. It's not an armalite, but it's a picture.... On topic, does anyone know what size the 11v Li-Ion cylindrical packs on RSOV are? I'm pondering getting two, lopping a cell off each, and making three 7.4v packs for my buffer tube, if they'll fit.
  12. I've got a slight error with it on my end; the "News (Archive | Search )" bit sticks out past the edge of the box. looks like the div element (or whatever was used for it) is slightly too short, and text it wrapping over the edge. I'm using Firefox running on Ubuntu Linux, with the display set to 1280x1024. And, apologies for making this a tech-thread EDIT - Hmm, it may jsut be that my browser was zoomed in a little bit. Zooming out, it seems fine...
  13. I've got myself a second M4, and, while my main rifle is in bits, i decided to do some stuff to it and take some pictures. Appologies for terrible quality pics, my camera sucks *albatross*. I've seen another conversion like this in the previous armalite thread, which is what inspired me to do this; I had some old VN foregrips laying around from an old springer M16A1, and what with the price of the base gun, i figured I could do a little modding. It's all easily reversed, so changing back to the original grips is a piece of cake. I Quite like the combination of the f
  14. I CBA to get pics of it at half midnight when I have 9am lectures tomorow, so I'll just say about it It's a pansonic CF-27. Toughbook. Awesome little thing. You can beat Tanks to death with it. No, realy. it's not made of these sissy plastics most laptops are. Solid metal.
  15. Two Questions: What FPS does it chuck out (chrono or a guess is fine), and can you pump the front level more than once to rack up the power?
  16. Lol, well, what are you gona do, eh? And yeah, it's a pretty good replica; I'm way too poor to have ever had a REAL eotech, but this one seems pretty damned good. Nice and solid, shame it's the short version, but, I can't really complain
  17. Oh, I do love how my M4 gets totally ignored Damn the fickleness of the armalite thread! It's either uber or ignored Ah well, better than the Ak thread, with a ten page flame war starting when a single rail is snapped in a picture
  18. I may as well stick pictures of this up again.... Not much changed since I posted it last, I'd swapped the full stock out for a CRT one, but I've since switched back as I intend to run a high speed setup and want a big beefy battery without a damned PEQ box! I do like the King Arms Eotech, mind, it's a nice bit of kit. One thing I'm not too keen on is that the reticule only realy comes into focus when you're looking at something relatively far away; not realy something you want for CQB. But it's -plenty sharp enough up close A big thanks to AirsoftQMS for giving me a free one, too
  19. Yes, but most games don't run on it, especially new ones ;_; Hence, I mainly use XP. But I do have Ubuntu installed
  20. Been a while since I posted in this thread... I've got a Dual-screen setup now, with a rather fetching picture of Tails as my background Click the link for big version Also, my monitors suck, neither can go past 1024x768 >_< EDIT: For some reason photobucket has shrunk it, and I CBA to change it. So, make do.
  21. Once i arrive back at university and grab all the ###### I've bought over the holiday, I'll grab some pictures of my M4's. Still pondering what to do with them, to be honest. The main one may end up with the CASV front, normal outer barrel (No sights on it, though), solid stock, and either no optics or an eotech. It'll be running a high-speed setup, too, mainly because I can do so 'tother one will likely be a standard M4 with a CRT stock on it. Might slap my aimpoint on it for optics, but depends on if it looks alright. What do people think I should do? Bearing in mind I'm not
  22. If you can hold on till mid january, I'll be able to get hold of my eotech and stick it onto my M4, which is complete with a CASV and CTR Stock. If you can't wait, then, you'd better hope someone else can post pics
  23. Pretty nice! Is that a marui tracer unit I spy there? I must be a stickler and say it'd probably look better with a long barrel and full-length fregrips, rather than M4 lenght ones... Something about eveyone in airsoft using a carbine with a huge silencer as a Sniper/DMR rifle jsut kinda bugs me
  24. How are you finding the 2roy launcher? I've been pondering getting one of them for a while now... Would probably round out my M4 rather nicely, but I'd like to know they're worth the dosh... Even if it's not all that much
