I was apparently damn near invisible yesterday in a Multicam top and plate carrier and dark green Carhartt hiking pants. Note: do not ever wear canvas pants in 100 degree humid Tennessee weather. I nearly died.

Yeah, that's basically it. I like it a lot. I'll try to take better pictures of it later today. Is the LPAAC basically an APC that takes BALCS soft armor? It looks a little...unwieldy.

Checked out the TN airsoft scene today at Bad Karma in Lebanon. Basically all of the equipment in the picture got its first field test today. Thank God, I was worried you had shaved and lost 30 pounds. How do you (and your buddy) like the Massif shirt? They have them for $40 at my surplus store and they seem much more durable than Crye.

My backordered Tyr Tactical Gunfighter's Belt showed up today. I'll be testing it in the field tomorrow, but my first impression is that it's VERY nice. I don't carry enough ammo on my belt to warrant a full MOLLE belt setup, so this seems like a good middle ground for me. I'll find out tomorrow if it bounces up over my hips when I run like MOLLE belts tend to do. Better pictures will come. I just moved into my dorm and haven't unpacked my camera yet.

I have a request. Can somebody please post a photo of them wearing ATACS (either pattern) with a Multicam plate carrier of some kind? I want to have an ATACS setup but I really do not want to replace a $250 armor carrier.

just caved in and bought a VFC XCR. So much for my last paycheck...

Ditch the battery box, get the MB M4 stock tube adapter and stick battery in there, really miss my XCR

I would do that but I actually really like the folding stock. It makes the gun small enough that I can stash it in a backpack to carry into the field as a backup for long ops. I'm going to try to figure out the battery in the gas piston thing and if that fails I may just live with the battery box.

My Camelbak Pakteen fits perfectly and since the bladder is already in a sort of carrier it stays insulated very well and doesn't sweat at all.

I've been using the ones that you said you don't like. My only complaint is that they puff out air when you push on them. I;ll usually wear them with my kevlar plate backers, so they're no less comfy than real plates, just lighter.

It looks like their Urban Grey. I'm considering selling my TMC Airframe for a PT Bravo. I'm trying to get away from replicas and the Bravos look really nice and a much more functional option for airsoft. Anyone tried one yet?
