  1. I may have a solution, a good friend of mine who is just starting out expressed an interest in the ops vest, which means the proceeds of selling it to him go back to getting what I originally wanted the Arktis Hybrid so not a bad deal considering the Hybrid as stated previously is supposed to be able to take big mags...
  2. Wouldn't be so bad if the dividers were held in place with say velcro just as a measure of security instead of being stitched in. It's not that major of an issue just means I'll be getting the Arktis Hybrid as well either from Airsoft Armoury or the C&S offer (if it's still on) as they supposedly have pouches that will take anything including AK mags. That and it's DPM not DDPM which some of my mates have picked on me about ¬_¬ I'll probably leave them in place for now will see how the fair on the field.
  3. I've got another one of that set with the guy looking through a Specter DR at something, nice finds.
  4. I would but for the purpose of what my current kit is for (see the previous page) I won't be needing an L85 or 86 for a while. Besides that the ICS one is what £350? Which I don't have at the moment The dividers are nicely stitched into the pouch so will be fun to get out. I might as well get one of the JG M733s instead of the G3, stick a TRS gas block rail on and mount a torch on it. Pretty much all I'll need for the Asylum..
  5. I've got a quick question regarding my Ops Vest. Now the as the left magazine pouch has dividers in it it sort of limits what magazines I can fit in there. Anyone got a rough idea as to how many G3 or similar sized mags would fit in the right hand ammunition pouch or the intermediate utility ones? My guess is two maybe 3 in them?
  6. I do believe I saw a couple in the shop when I was down there at the weekend. They look quite nice IMHO.
  7. Many thanks for the tips CKinnerley They'll come in handy It was a bit hastily done if I may be honest, I was at my Grandfather's house as I'd just got back from buying the ops vest actually, £49.95 from Surplus and Adventure. o.O (prepare for a bunch of cobblers) I'm going to be going for 2 outcomes with this stuff. The first one is as follow: Me and a few friends from College and a mate from Glasgow have what I guess you'd call it a 'unit' (It's more of a group of plebs who work somewhat as a team) known as the 'International Security Executive' or less formally the 'Suicide
  8. My kit as of now, finally got round to uploading some pictures Quite liking the Ops Vest too.
  9. Why's that then? LaRue sell 12" complete uppers with Stainless barrels for real steal stuff so for this build it looks just as authentic. --- Low magnification optics on compact Armalites are a very nice combo, the torch sets it off too Filter or lenscap? <-- NVM, just opened the Armalite thread and saw the parts list ^^
  10. That is quite something. I rather like it
  11. Thanks for the info Was looking at the Guarder TRS stuff as well.
  12. It's not a stock 733 or CAR-15 anymore... It's been painted and had stuff put on it so even if it's bolt on it's still "custom"... Can I get some more info on the torch and mount please Reborn? I'm looking to do something similar soon.
  13. It's real steel if I recall so I'm guessing that Sig make it.
  14. I guess it could be achieved by buying real steel PMags and modifying them like you would the real steel AK magazines, that or FarEast knows something we don't?
