Mine nearly complete; latest g&p m4a1, MOE handguard, pistol grip & stock, 120rd pts mags with ranger plates. I have a prometheus inner barrel and soft hop rubber and scs nub on the way to go in it. Running off a 7.4v li-po. Hoping to get an asap sling mount and ms2 sling soon! I'm also thinking of getting some form ofoptic...just for looks really maybe a micro aimpoint!

I purchased a moe stock from e-hobby and one from fire support both within a couple of weeks of each other and they both came in the same box you are referring to. What hk retailer was it? If you go on the pts website you can see the genuine dealers. Hugh

played with the gun today, it rained, it was muddy but so much fun! Gun performed fantastically except i think the hop unit might be self adjusting slightly but i'll look into that! The paint seems fairly hard wearing. Overall very good! Hugh

I've not played with it yet but it seems pretty good! The paint is a nice matte black and the trades are pretty bold which is cool. I have a game on Saturday so i'll let you know how it fares! Hugh

yep my hop up spring was missing too although it worked fine without one but i have also fitted a spare i had. The tm hop rubber has probably given you a better airseal hence the rise in fps!

can't find these in the UK. Can anyone point me in the direction of a US store that will ship internationally? Hugh

Nice review. The gun looks lovely...i may consider a black one at some point for a cqb weapon! Out of interest is the cylinder in your gearbox black in colour? I have a new marine m4a1 from land warrior and it has a fancy looking black coating!

This is a short review of the G&P m4a1 marine edition aeg. Where from: I purchased the aeg from landwarriorairsoft earlier this week. Total cost was £215 including next day delivery. This is the best price in the UK at the moment and also the latest model. Landwarrior appear to be doing many other models too! What you get: It comes in the usual g&p brown box with the logo and what model it is printed on the top along with foam padding inside. Inside the box you will find the aeg, one g&p 120rd metal mid-cap and a manual which includes the usual saftery and g

Yeah i think you meant me..... i'm actually waiting for a + to - thread adapter from HK as the silencer isn't a very tight fit on the g&p flash hider, however it fits nicely onto the flash hider which came with the silencer! If i'm not lucky enough to get the flashhider in the correct position i'll have to put a shim behind it so it is!

My G&P cqbr, Internals: guarder cylinder kit with sp90, prometheus 363mm barrel, sytema hop rubber, running on a hotpower 3000mah 7.4 li-po (would actually fit into g&p stock perfectly but wires prevent stock from being anything other than fully extended). Externals: d-boys crane stock, new version dragon red eotech (no ghosting, everything works & very bright), KAC vert fore-grip, EA KAC qd silencer.

ok guy's, i've been reading through this thread as i'm looking for a new weapon. Just getting back into airsoft after a while off. What kind of temperatures can this gun run reliably at? Can any of the UK guy's tell me if they think it's going to be skirmish-able? Obdviously this is very much a milsim weapon which is my style anyway so i don't need a "hose" but something that could put out single shots every time and 5-10 rounds at times without slowing right down would be ideal. Ive had countless amounts of aeg's, upgraded them, custom builds etc but never a gbb rifle so i apolog

Hey guy's, do you think i could fit a d-boys ris to my ca m15a4 ( a few posts above) without buying a whole new front end. A retailer told me i would need to buy a whole new front end as there is 5mm difference on the front sight but I'm not entirely convinced. any help appreciated. cheers-Hugh

ok guy's, i've read through the topic and i've noticed a lot of people say the mag midcaps feed well. I also read the ca mid-caps worked well but mine do not. Who else uses the mag mid-caps and do you use sa80 specific versions? cheers-Hugh

Got another one today as i wanted a second gun. It chronoed at 350fps out of the box. All bb's were feeding fine using a 9.6v battery and ca mid-caps, changed to heavier .25 ammo and now it's started mis-feeding although it doesn't really do it with the heavier ammo and the original mag. I've read somewhere that the ca mid-caps were fine in this gun. Why could this be miss-feeding? Also, the gun seems to continue to fire in full auot for around 6-10 shots after you let off the trigger? I have searched but not found an answer. cheers-Hugh

yeah thats odd, i deffo have 20 brightness settings per color and it runs on 2 aa batteries. It seems to be a bit hit and miss with the china-soft kit. I hope you sort the problem out with dragon red, again another problem with buying abroad, it's very frustrating you can't walk into a shop with the item and show them what's happened.

Well considering both me and a friend both looked own the real steel and my dragon red version and we both agreed, yes as i said the real steel is visible in daylight but my point was: I'm very pleased with mine, and in my opinion and the guy who owns the real steel..there is no point in buying the real one for £300 when you can buy one that looks just as good and works spot on for what we need. In the woods and cqb area, which is the majority of my local site i have to turn the brightness down to about the tenth setting as its far too bright otherwise, thats with light coming through the tree

Nothing was wrong with the piston i just wanted a vented piston to get a better air seal. The lug on the gearbox was just bad luck i think but all fixed now!

I compared my dragon red eotech to a real steel at the weekend....there isn't much difference! I'm sure the build quality etc is better internally and probably externally its not far off. The reticles are near enough the same brightness/visibility. Mine has been skirmished 3 times now and it's been great. Still on the original duracel aa's i fitted when i got it and they have been used a lot. Really pleased with mine!

ok guy's, just uploading the pics i have of the internals. Basically i was considering leaving the gearbox as it was however when setting the aeg up in the garden the trigger locked up! I opened up the mech-box and found that a little "stub" which is part of the gearbox casing mold had broken off, this prevented the trigger switch from going to far back, coming off it's guides and locking up. I didn't want to have to buy a new casing so i drilled the area where this stub was and fitted a small countersunk screw and nut so it cleared the selector plate and was short enough not to interfer

yeah, well apparently someone has fitted the gearbox to a hurricane receiver but as far as i can tell from research i've done the pin holes don't line up with other receivers
