I've owned the HK416A5 for a couple months now, so here are some thoughts if anyone actually reads this thread: The good: -External quality is great -Ambidextrous features are great- the selector is solid and clicks firmly into place. The bolt catch is truly ambidextrous -Hop up adjustment is very well designed- being able to fine tune with the faux gas regulator is easy, quick, and effective. Well, the selector is mushy so I'd like a hard stop. On another note, did anybody's overhop the BBs to heaven? I've got the hop OFF and it sends .28g upwards and .2g just disappear

Has anyone discovered a fix to the over-rotating selector?

I finally found the time to take this to an outdoor game and I'm very pleased. After dealing with G&P/Inokatsu years ago I had given up on GBBRs but the Marui offering is a whole different animal. Accuracy isn't as good as the usual legendary Marui performance but it is still quite good. I had quite a few kills where opponents saw me and simply assumed that I couldn't shoot that far. I picked one up because I felt that Marui's past record justified giving the MWS a chance. So far, loads better than any G&P or Inokatsu that I ever owned. I really wouldn't worry about the trigger. It feels light compared to an actual GI trigger, which is gritty and heavy anyways

Any consensus on the long term durability of this rifle with GG/propane? I may pick one up for garage shooting if I can find it used.

As a test, I chilled a magazine with a full tank of green gas at 35o F for an hour. The Night Warrior fired 16 rounds without issue and another 4 after manually cycling the slide. The Night Winter Warrior is pretty impressive in the cold.

I'm loving the look of the AK with the forward mounted Aimpoint (shocker, I've been an AR/M14 user) and I am considering either a CYMA AK105 or the GHK model. Is there a replica of the Ultimak forward rail? I'm not too keen on paying the cost of the whole CYMA gun for a rail.

I'm debating between a WE M16A1 and a G&P AEG version of the same gun. I had a WE M14 a while back and it was mostly trouble free, but I plan on running a M16 much harder than I do a DMR-type rifle. If you guys could answer a couple of questions, I'd greatly appreciate it. 1) How long are your stock trigger groups holding up in summer temperatures? 2) How long are your loading nozzles/bolt carriers holding up in the same conditions? 3) How is shot to shot consistency in rapid semi-auto fire? I think Marushin's previous offerings scared people away from this Carbine. I was more than a little skeptical when I first heard of it. The prospect of more decent Marushin products is terrifying for wallets The action is a little bit fatter at the bottom. I think a dremel could probably do the work necessary to fit the action into a para stock.

I'm looking for a new GBB rifle to use as a CQB primary. I've got an AEG for outdoors, so I'm not too concerned with long range accuracy or performance, just durability and reliability. Most of the action would indoors during the winter, so I think CO2 would be a must. Can the WE M4 OB reliably handle that with a NPAS tuned to 275 fps w/ .25g or will I need to buy the RAtech steel LPK and bolt? Thanks for the help

My G&P TA31 fell off a rack and got a cracked lens as a result. I was quite disappointed to find out that the price had gone from $100 or so to $170 when I went to buy a replacement.
