  1. Awesome, so the wii tech adjuster fits in the stock hopup unit
  2. At a game the other day I shot my ACR next to my friends KWA M4. Both were shooting right around 360 fps with .25 bbs, he got just a bit better range than me. I've done a little to try and improve the seal on my Nozzle, and got some results. However after reading through a few pages it looks like some people are getting good results from the full WII tech kit. I just wanted to check that it was worth the price before trying it out.
  3. Has anybody ever tried to change the grip on their scars? My stock grip is broken and the m4 grip I'm trying to use doesn't seem to align the motor correctly
  4. Is there any chance that anyone knows a site that still has one of the ACR suppressors in stock? If not is magpul going to re-release those or were they a one shot?
  5. I did both, I didn't test in between to see which helped more. I'm assuming the strip on top would be fine for most people, my bucking just didn't fit well.
  6. Nikon had the right idea. I put a madbull bucking on and I could tell the actual nub wasn't getting good contact, by cutting about a millimeter off the end the rubber fit farther onto the barrel.
  7. There haven't really been that many faulty ACR's, also the longer you wait past release the less likely it is that they'll be faulty. You have to realize that you're going to hear from everyone who has a problem, but the hundreds of people with fine guns don't post up saying their guns work perfectly. After using my ACR at a few games now my only complaint is that the hop-up doesn't give good grip, but after cutting a sliver off the end of my hop-up rubber and adding a strip to the top I get fantastic performance out of my hop-up.
  8. Real steal ACR's sure are brown, not sure how I like the CB look compared to the FDE
  9. the only accessory that I've heard is supposed to be a limited edition is the FDE suppressor.
  10. Just thought it might be worth mentioning that I played in 20 degree (Fahrenheit) weather yesterday the only problems my acr was having were due to my battery slowly dying of hypothermia. At the same game at least 3 stock kwa's went down including two gearboxes shattering.
  11. I saw these in a recent issue of AI as well and was pretty impressed by the concept. The more they branch out the more I'll like this system. If I were to get an m4 (not a damn chance) I would pretty strongly consider this option.
  12. eh, I get the whole price complaint. But when I bought mine I was planning on picking up all the goodies so that I could switch them out at my subtle whim. I kinda knew the price point was going to get pretty ridiculous. I've already picked up a folding stock, mvg, and single point mount, as well as a mess of m-version pmags. Now I have to save up another $200 for the barrel and suppressor, I would be more forlorn, but I just enjoy putting money into this sucker. It's honestly what I wished my first AEG had been like 6 years ago when I got it.
  13. I like that the 11.5 can take the suppressor so I'll probably just pick that one up regardless. Def looks nice.
  14. does anyone know if they've canceled the 10.5" barrel in lieu of just releasing the 11.5"? Because while I def want a cqc barrel I don't need two and I want the most cqc for my buck if you get what I'm saying.
  15. No I still have the fixed stock. I'm pretty sure I'm getting a folder for Christmas, is that likely to tighten things up?
  16. after disassembling and reassembling my acr I've noticed the slightest amount of play between the upper and lower receivers. If I pull up and down on fore-grip I can cause about a millimeter of up and down play. I can tell that it's loose at the front body pin, it doesn't really matter I'm just wondering if I'm missing something when I try to improve the fit back to perfect.
  17. if you still have it I'd just glue it back on or a similar remedy.
  18. nice ms paint beard Knives. You almost had me fooled for a second there.
  19. After receiving mine I can safely say that I love it. Most of the problems everyone is talking about seem to be either greatly exaggerated or fabrications. It seems on par with other guns of similar price, a lot of vfc guns have minor niggles that need working out at first. I think people just need to hate on it because it's magpul. Although the old pmags definitely don't work and wgc shipped me 4 of them instead of the m-versions that I ordered(which is annoying).
  20. well wgc has the fg folding stock, but they've yet to get my acr in stock.
  21. I've got a nineball recoil spring, another mag, and real pachmayers coming in. When they get here my meu will be pretty much finished.
  22. I've already payed my money and look forward to getting my FG ACR in the next few weeks. Just to throw my 2 cents into this ridiculously drawn out and overall pointless argument, Ckinnerly's proposal really seems pretty possible. PTS could very well have gone to one of ARES major oem's and just said do it the same but better. To be honest though, the only reason I think the argument is still going on is the hope that someone will eventually get to give a real "I told you so"
  23. got the pants in the mail today after switching websites, by the time my camera works again I should have a decent multicam loadout.
  24. I'm going to be really optimistic and hope that since mine isn't in the first run that it won't have the wobble issue.
  25. I paid for a pair of TRU multicam pants 20 days ago and still haven't received them from the retailer. I've wanted to wear multicam at the last 2 skirmishes I've gone to. This is driving me nuts.
