Not sure if it's allowed to discuss it here, mods please remove if inapropriate. When you cut a throat, the poor bloke will tend to disagree. Trying to produce a sound with his mouth, he'll expell air through his trache (sp?), which makes an aweful and loud noise. If you get too enthusiastic in your movement, you may even cut his carotid (sp?) veins, and make a mess. And the guy will still be trying to get away from you, potentially increasing the noise. See? Even he will regret you didn't shoot him in the head...

And do you actually stab people very often? A combat knife, or any knife for that matter, IMO is a tool, not a weapon. Or a very last ditch weapon. Or when you are a sneaky SF taking opfor by surprise (but I bet they'd prefer to put bullets in someone's head rather than cutting his throat: more secure and less noisy)

Actually the 551 was the one I liked the less in the family. The 550 was long and beautiful, the 552 short and mean. Also the 551 was mostly pictured with black furniture, and I prefer it green. Then I had the opportunity to buy this one, and love it so much that I really want an airsoft version of it...

Where'd you buy it from? Also, where could I find an IR filter for my G2 (to use with the regular lamp, I know LED don't work well for IR) for as cheap as possible? flip-up style if possible.

My Kosovo bought G2 surounded by different pieces of kit, basically what I bought/had while in Coventry.

Held a P30 at the range (my SIG's previous owner's) the other day, very nice piece indeed. Love those OD lower USPs, might get one at some point.

Lord Sex, what backpack is that? Looks real nice, and I'm lloking for one that I can use for EDC as well as in duty, and this seems to fill the bill. And the nice TAD Gear ones are a tad bit (see what I did there?) too expensive for me...
