Not a NATO G10 (although I have one in the same pattern on my Seiko Chronograph), it was actually just a stripy strap in the colours shown on mine, with a curved buckle and a fabric keeper. Bonds strap was also 18mm, rather than the 20mm of the NATO G10 and my "Bond" copy, but then again, my Submariner is actually a copy of the Roger Moore 5513 Submariner, having the markings on the bezel between 12 and 3 and it has the crown protectors on the far side. It's a homage to Bond

Since putting a UBR on my Magpul M4, and having used CTR, MOE and every standard M4 stock out there in the past, I wouldn't change it for anything.

Does fitting these to a G&P mean you can no longer use the fake bolt plate, or is there still enough clearance? -
It didn't so much as touch the black paint, and it got quite a forceful wipe to remove the last vestiges of the white. At first, I used a cotton bud, but that just smeared it. I then got one of those circular makeup removal pads, put it on top of the bottle of nail varnish remover and tipped it to get a good dose, and wiped it across. Almost all of it came away in one wipe, leaving little bits which I rubbed a little harder until they disappeared. I'm guessing the suppressor finish is baked on to harden it, or has a resin base, because it's like rock.

Excellent review, Chris, which made my mind up to get one. Just arrived and fitted. The flash hider goes beautifully onto a G&P M4A1 barrel, with no gap at all, so the original silver collar is not needed. The tacky white "FOR AIRSOFT USE ONLY" came straight off with some nail varnish remover and a makeup removal pad borrowed from my daughter. The whole thing is just superb, and the weight at the front is not noticable to me, perhaps because my UBR stock balances it out?

My latest is a black Magpul M4 body with M4A1 carry handle in place and black MOE grip, along with a FDE UBR stock and FDE MOE carbine front end, with illumination kit and tan Element Surefire M951 clone. I like the usability of the carry handle sights. Can't post photos yet, because I just sold my Emags to change over to short Pmags, and they aren't here yet. I'm also waiting for the new flash hider

I have the twin of your silver slide G17 here. Almost identical upgrades, except for the Nine Ball buffers, and I have the Guarder steel mag catch and trigger lever. I also have Shooters Design magazine base plates installed on all my magazines. It no longer has the alloy magwell on the frame, but I need to update my photos

Some nail varnish remover on an old toothbrush and cotton bud did the trick

Ether? What about acetone, like nail varnish remover? Will that affect the finish of the receiver?
