He means put a thread in the bottom of the mags and fit a valve, and feed the gun with external CO2/HPA. For better consistency.

Wow great work man, but er...they spelt your name wrong

Can someone give me the lowdown on the different versions of this gun? IE KSC/KWA etc. I'm seriously considering getting one of these as my first foray into GBBs, and ideally I'd like the one with full trades and stuff. Also, is there anyway to reduce the power without reducing recoil? I read somewhere on here that the normal NPAS cuts recoil quite a bit as well as power...
Also any recommended mods? The only one I've come across so far is that bolt catch one.
Thanks!

it uses 2 cr123's
pressure switch in one of the best ACM ones ive come across, 6+ months of use so far and still as good as new
i run mine on 3.7v rechargeable's in a CBQ site underground, so lots of use and i only recharge every few weeks, so id guess approx 4hrs burn time
ive also just got the peq box version, same cree led but with blue low light, red laser & IR illuminater !!!!
Ah so rechargeables do work? Excellent, I'll be having one of these!
-
Ah thanks, just what I wanted to know
I wanted to know because rechargeable 123a's have a higher voltage (3.6V) than disposable 123a's (3V), but given that it's an LED the torch most likely has a driver circuit which regulates the voltage to whatever it is the LED needs.
Anyone else tried rechargeables?

Quick question for anyone who owns one of these - I'm considering getting one, but I'd like to know if you can use rechargeable 123a batteries in this torch. Would just help to cut down on battery costs.
Thanks!

However! Good luck fitting anything bigger than a 7.4V mini lipo in there due to the 'realistic' chunky barrel.
I begin to see why ICS supply the big fat one out of the box
Yeah, I can live with that, I'll have LiPos by then...just checking it's compatible with airsoft furniture.
Good stuff!
I think that right there might just be the ultimate airsoft MP5!

Nice review, hoping to get me one of these when I turn 18, looks seriously good!
Does the standard handguard fit?
-
OK dude that's amazingly cool collection you got there! You win
Seriously, your Russian stuff is mind-blowingly good!
What is that monstrosity of a scope on your top AKM?
-
Wow, I take it the pyro goes off after a set time or if you cut the wrong wire/get the code wrong?
Cool, but a nade to the face can't be nice...
edit: which is why there's a metal cover over it. Duh.

I wonder if the carry handle with optics will be available separately, would be awesome for people who already have a G36. As far as I know this is the first carry handle scope where the scope is actually useable!
Gun looks amazing mate, I have to say if I were to get a G36 now it would probably be this one!

I have to say I agree with snowman on this one.
I always thought that the one condition on necro-posting is that if it adds useful information to a thread then it doesn't matter if it's a necro.

Nah I approve as well . I like reading reviews on stuff, really helps me choose my gear with my meagre budget.

Very good, look forward to the night test .

Sorry if this is in the wrong place...
What's this new review section underneath the main forum? Is it just that, a new forum? I just appear to have missed the fanfare around its opening.
Does it link to the review database or is it independant?

In a Western Arms gun, once the hammer cracks open the valve, it is held open by something called a valve lock which is part of the magazine. When the slide (or in this case bolt) hits the disconnector, the valve lock dis-engages and the valve closes.
But why do you need to buy extra valve locks? Surely new WA mags come with them already fitted? Or do they break easily or something?

Have you tried an NPAS since RA-Tech improved it? The new ones are better.
