Well, either way you did a good job. The fact you did it with just needle files is even more impressive. That's hard work lol

That looks boss, but you need at least an A1 to fit the look .

http://justpistols.arniesairsoft.co.uk/reviews.htm Many great nights just reading these when I was a teenager. Thanks, Snowman.

Unless the barrel well in the slide is too small, the barrel shouldn't have a problem. If this does happen you would see marks on the barrel. Could be the lugs on the chamber causing your lockup problems. Look at your barrels, and see if there are any blemishes or dents on your lugs or barrel.

Still working on it, and it's nowhere near finished. But I have been working on my JAC

Paper target shooting in my backyard? I use the term "match" in loose correlation that I built the gun for accuracy. I won't be skirmishing with it. I would never call you ignorant .

I like the wide hanguard on my G3, so I was attracted PRI because of that.

Turned a A&K SR25 into my match gun. Wanted it to be light weight and ergonomic, while still having most SR25 features. The PSG-1 and G28 had a huge inspiration for this project. Coincidently, the rifle is 3 and a half pounds lighter than my plastic PSG-1, and I think that has to do with the wolverine system being so light compared to an aeg. This gun is still being tested for the best performance, but is completely functional. Applied the second coat of polyurathane. That grain, man.

Restoring a pair of S&W combat grips for my v-comp. These are genuine and they can cost as much as the Tanaka that I am putting 'em on. The grips are Goncalo Alves, verrrry exotic hard wood that has a superb grain and consistency: But, as you can see S&W really uglied the up with a heavy dose of lacquer. I started using 60 grit sandpaper and worked up to 1000 grit for an hour removing the original lacquer. Then I spent another hour using 1000 grit to 1800 grit wet sandpaper trying to expose the beautiful grain of the Goncalo Alves, when I was finished, I applied Minwax

A couple new item, new beveled Commander bushing, steel hammer and sear, steel slide stop and Commander guide rod. Hammer and sear was super expensive, but gave this a custom trigger that would put even real custom guns to shame. Also, I picked up a Genuine Novak carrying case.

To be honest, I don't like it. It has no working slide catch, either.

Playing around with my J5 on a stormy day in the middle of nowhere. -
I could of put my commander inner and outer barrel in, but the standard barrel gives an extra funk to it's funkiness.
