no it wont. i know plenty of people who are fully capable of skirmishing with stock TM guns, putting about about 280 fps. and they are ALWAYS far better players than the ones that rely on upgrades to get kills. as somebody else said, you could stick a tightbore in it, a 20 minute job at most, not difficult, and it will apparently be an awesome gun. you dont need to put a bigger spring in it unless the sites you play at our playing above the legal limit.

when you factor in postage and possible import charges, UK shops selling it for 125 quid, with guarentees and warranties, is almost certainly a better option.

how much will postage for this be from RSOV ? probably going to pre-order one, but want to make sure of the total cost first.

firstly, if everybody did just put what was on their gun, what it was etc, it would cut out a lot of posts for a start. secondly, i find the pic threads very helpful. getting ideas on how to make your own gun different comes easiest from pic threads. its easier for people who like to make their guns identical to real steel, as theres plenty of real steel pics. however i like to make mine look as good as possible, in an airsoft way. and looking at other pics to see what people have done helps a lot. for example, the fact ive got an SPR flashider on my G36K comes from seeing an spr in

i might get one of these. especially if its mroe reliable than the G&G one. one of my team mates has one, and so far every time hes used it, it jas broken. its been fixed 4 or 5 times by a proper gunsmith, and everytime it breaks. for 60 quid or whatever it is, i reckon im in on this. shame they dont do the carbine version.

newbkiller, that is the first gun that has persuaded me to comment in quite a while. it is *beep* hot. it look the business. like one of those dudes that walks in the pub, headbutts somebody, drinks their pint then walks out, without saying a word. and that flashider is awesome.

looks very much to me like maccrages 'wood' m16 is actually wood patterned vinyl stuck to the gun if its not, its the best piece of airsoft woodwork ive ever seen.

why do people bother with RIS front ends on a G36 ? you can get enough rail just using the lighter, cheaper normal front ends. i cant see ANY benefit to a railed front end. other than the rail on top, which i've not ever actually seen anybody use anyway. everything else could easily be put on the normal screw on rails.

does the silencer make it any quieter. im looking for something a little bit different, but thats very quiet. still not sure if i prefer the MP7 anyway though.

like i said, i looked through the STAR one and it was shicking. having to put your eye on the lense pretty much, then, as Daz said, the lense is pretty tiny anyway. the useless factor is only rivalled by the STAR SUSAT.

the classic army ones. i know for fact, after owning the CA and looking through the STAR dual optic, the CA is better. however, i dont think the CA one is particuarly good, its just better than the star. ive heard other people say the G&P is worse or the same as STAR, which means CA is better than those aswell. the problem, even apparently with real steel ones, is the eye relief. it sucks. the big one. if i didnt get the handle with my CA36K, theres no way i'd go out and spend more than 20 quid on one. its far more practical to get a 'C' rail and your own optic.

thats like saying "I'm a narrow minded twat who cant accept the fact not everybody wants to look like everybody else" what it should sound like is "i think that thing is butt-ugly, but fair play. its your money, your gun, do what you will with it" at least it doesnt look like every other wood/metal AK out there.

as you guys found out, i am using a STAR L85 AFV hi-cap in my CAR15 pics. originally i brought it to use in my G36K, and it looked the tits. but ive got rid of the magwell adaptor and gone back to g36 mags now, so i only have the CAR15 to use it in. for those who crave authenticity........... one with a metal body, one without. cheers

just your comment on "brushed steel finish on plastic parts", implied you thought i was saying the whole gun was metal. just a misunderstanding thne, no worries. on topic, wish i had something new to post not a fan of the carbine, but the taiwanese m16 thingy is pretty tasty, and at least its differnt to the other armalites.

u all suck balls. when i went to egypt a year or 2 ago, aswell as AK's looking as battered as my one does, the 'undercover' - i say undercover, they were actually blatently obviously not egyptian civvies, as civvies dont wear armani in the desert - had MP5K's that were so worn, they were pretty much just brushed steel finish. im talking gleaming in the sunlight stylee. so if you think its unrealistic, think again.

is the 3 rnd burst actually much use ? surely its just putting an extra 2, wasted bb's, in the same spot you would have put one, and it would have done the job?
