  1. Okay, yeah the new format works fine. I was just going through old sales by searching for all my posts in the Classified section, and those old-style links are what I got for a lot of the threads.
  2. Having problems leaving feedback for old trades - I copy the trade topic into the box, but when I submit it comes back saying And the URL has been shortened in the box, all the parts before /index.php? are gone. Might it be an issue with the URL itself? - here's an example: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=174609 Some newer trades have let me post feedback okay.
  3. I'd like to give the new system a trial, see how it goes - can always go back if it doesn't work, right? From the demo page, it looks like the listings would close after a certain time - that seems like a good idea in principle, as it's really annoying to reply to a post only to find that it's gone and the thread just hasn't been updated.
  4. I guess they don't think there'd be a profit in it. It's the same as the new TM AUG - they made a perfect replica of the AUG A3 XS 9mm, but then didn't bother to make the 9mm magwell adapter to go with it. Why would they go 95% of the way and then stop? It makes no sense...
  5. I don't think there are any replicas of those optics. But again, you'd think there would be, wouldn't you?
  6. The clip-thingy is built-in to the top of the plastic stock. I'm trying to find a good image, but can't. Since I'm in Afghanistan, I can't photograph my team-mate's. If someone with a Tavor could photograph the top of the body behind the scope/scope rail and post that up here, then people would see what I mean... And yes, that real-steel rail will fit on airsoft Tavors. My team-mate has one. He also has the $150 gripod/taclight from that same website. But you'd think that a replica of that rail would work just as well and cost less, if you could get someone to machine one...
  7. There is no rear rail, doesn't it fit on the clip thingy behind the iron sight?
  8. What difference does that make? Do what *YOU* want to do, it doesn't matter what other people have done.
  9. That just looks like it's not been treated properly and generally abused. Sure, a weapon will get a few scratches over time, but a good soldier cares for his weapon and takes care of it, so it can take care of him.
  10. Please don't quote pics. Especially directly under the post you're quoting. There's no point.
  11. I prefer the look of the longer barrel
  12. Firstly, why not just buy the brown one in the first place, is that's the colour you wanted? Secondly, just get some Krylon the colour you want, mask off the parts you don't want to be brown, and spray away. Thirdly, yes, I've seen plenty of Tavors in Desert Tan. They look like this: Hope that helps.
  13. Yeah, it just looks mean. I pretty much stopped using mine, though, after I got my twin USPs...
  14. Hmmm.... Nice piece, but terrible stance - if that was a real Desert Eagle and you fired it there, you'd take your head off with the recoil...
  15. Friends don't let friends post drunk....
  16. You have PM so as not to spam this picture thread any more.
  17. It's a nice rifle. If you want to sell it, let me know.
  18. Drake - what optic is on that Tavor? Love the green/black colour scheme. Makes me want one.
  19. And that's what it's there for. Answering the questions so you don't have to ask them.
  20. Here is not a good place to - here is a good place to post pics. The best place to ask is in the AUG FAQ and Helpdesk thread. However - why will it be a lot of hassle to get a CA AUG A1 into the UK, compared to getting any other AEG into the UK? If you do not have VCRA Defense, then sort that out first. See the VCRA section of the forum if you don't know about this. What thoughts/recommendations and suggestions are you looking for - whether or not to get a CA AUG A1, where to get one from, how to import it....?? Your question is too vague.
  21. Sweet. Thanks a bunch, Arnie. (As it happens, the thing I was looking for at the time turns out not to be there anyway, but the other stuff is still there, so that's good)
