I am not going to be present at the Shot Show this year (almost was), but was wondering if we should start up a thread in general discussion for folks who do go to post? Also, a challenge for anyone going to find a Swiss SG 751 rifle. I doubt it would be shown since they don't plan to produce them for the US market. Basically the big brother of the 550 series.

Here's another brainscratcher: try and get the right 'rubber hardness' for your fps. I'll need to look it up but it's along the lines of 45
° for sub 300, 50° for sub 350 FPS, 60° for sub 400 and 70° plus 400 FPS and such. Don't quote me on the number though, no-one is very clear on that. It even depends on your ambient temperature since that also influences the hardness of the rubber. ANYWAY: I'd say try a few of premium brands

If AEG: No going wrong with ProWin hopup and Prometheus purple rubber. But nowadays there are a lot of good rubber options. PDI, MapleLeaf, Lonex and so on. On hop units you're good with just tuning the hop by tightening the tolerances with sheet Alu. Drum hups like G36 style are better at keeping their settings and now a days you find them for your M4 as well ( M4 is normally the wheel style ). There's a lot of info though.

Oh, you've said it.
If I could, I'd replace every AEG's wiring with PCB's with mosfets and microswitches;
all potmetal wil blue'd steel and all ABS with rosewood and/or DuPont Polymer.

it's called the airsoft learning curve
. When I started I wanted torches, lasers, all rails cover with rail protectors and huge scopes. Then I understood I didn't have the stamina and I looked rather stupid. Old '90 SAS and US units inspired me to go light/practical.

PX4 works in winter, many P226 don't
. Had them both and I prefer the PX4 above the P226 for several reasons. Cold-resistance, easy hop, longer reach, trigger is longer but smooth as silk. My 2c.

Quick question for you EU folks: Why is there such a huge prejudice against the Polish? I noticed it's rampant in WoT's EU server, but as an American, I don't really understand it. Thanks in advance for any clarification, this question was not meant to insult anyone.

Polish? No, they're pretty ok. They're one of the more advanced countries of East EU AFAIK. Romanians, Bulgarians and former Yugoslavians are all the talk here... One thing I CAN say about the polish men is that they do know how to work and the level of pride in their works is huge. Oh, and my polish female friend and her female friends have quite the big mouth
