Afyer a quick comment about pts mags, I'd like to als ye all a question. Magpul PTS mags are extremely handy to disassemble, no? Pull out the springs, remove screws and vlean the 2 halves and spring with a q-tip dipped in a drop of solicone oil. And ylu're saying the 417nare even easier? Aweshum! Secondly, I'd like to convert to a m4 platform again ( controls and ease of mag swaps) and I need to know this before I spend money on a 7.62 chestrig: is there a performance difference between the 416, 417, scar L and scar H? I keep on reading contradicting posts on the web. I'd use it

Same idea here bud! I like the look of an old and worn but cared for and treasured rifle. It's because of a post apocalyptic idea of mine. Imagine doing years with one rifle in a world gone bad. You'd trust it with your life and treasure it. You share a lot of memories. You take care of the rifle and it will take care of you. This kind of idea.

It's wonderful, I just miss some wear... some character, right? But hey, that's just my opinion. You must be very proud ^^

Ah, the good ol' days. They're gone though. And I feel like a Forum Chairsofter that doesn't want to join the Facebook Chairsofters... I'd love a restart of a knowledge base. People don't experiment as much anymore. In my case I never have: no money nor a secluded range to test it. I believe the Northern part of the EU is a fairly untapped knowlegde source. I'm having an m4 itch again. Always thought the GnP MRP beautiful but too expensive compared to the same build but non monolithic. Are these new Modify, Lonex and E&L ar15 a thing? I'm not touching next gen because non compatibility with certain parts. Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk

About the rotational force. That would be inherent to the design. Increasing the tolerance between the springguide and the guide tunnel in the bolt and lightening the bolt could lighten the stress. But who'd want to lighten the bolt? And yes, I meant 2nsprings in series, not parallel. Sorry ^^. I thought that way since it wouldn't self destruct that fast as a soft body like rubber. I see it happening here at some railroad applications. Or 1 custom strength twisted recoil spring. I dunno . I'm no engineer ^^ Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk

Would a 2 stage recoil spring be a good idea? 1 long soft spring and a short stiff spring at the trunnion side. I'm thinking gen 4 Glock like solutions. Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk
