  1. Large IFAK pouch = lots of generap purpose storage
  2. A buddy and I bought 12 AEGs from a guy for $200 a while back. He hadn't played in years and wanted to offload them fast (no, they weren't stolen). I sold all of them save for one G&G M4 in about a week. A couple of weeks back some kid said he got a RealSword 56-2 for his birthday (or maybe Christmas?) and didn't like it. He would accept trades for M4s, so I promptly traded him the $16 M4 and a few mags for the RealSword. $17 RealSword + $70 mags + $5 chest rig (long story involving a law enforcement contract), and I have a nice setup for just under $100. Bakelite: already working on t
  3. Brand new RealSword 56-2, Egyptian slant brake, 10x bakelite mags, etc... for well south of $100!
  4. I got mine from EBB something like 7 business days after it was posted.
  5. Considering how often we, as airsofters, use a battery (probably twice a month tops, and then it's not continuous draw like you would get with a RC plane or car) it doesn't really matter if your lipo is off by .01v in each cell.
  6. I'm in need of a LCT style (held on with set screw) AKM front sight block assembly. Are there any cheap clones of that sort, or do I need to shell out for the LCT to get that functionality?
  7. I see that it is top wired. Was the bolt added after the fact?
  8. Awesome! I'd been a little bit worried about the sizing, but given that your head is shaped about like mine, and measured the same (57cm), I think it should fit me just fine.
  9. It's a cut down set of AKM handguards. Both the sides and bottom were cut to be flush with the receiver. It's been refinished, but the cut marks are faintly visible in person.
  10. If this is what you guys call trash, then I will kindly offer to take all of your used items as a courtesy measure.
  11. No, just years of use and then a loooooot of cosmoline.
  12. DBoys AK74, Romanian battlefield pickup handgaurds
  13. That's so horribly ugly that it looks awesome.
  14. ^ This. While you wouldn't actually be breaking that rule under that definition, I would prepare for a long, long day full of complaints.
  15. A nifty gadget to be sure, though I know a lot of fields would probably consider this to be in violation of blindfire rules. I still want one.
  16. She's just getting broken in. Still has a long way to go to match the old furniture, but looking good.
  17. I run the forums for the SC airsoft group (www.southcarolinaairsoft.com). A couple of years back my april fools' joke was to shut down the forums and replace them with a merged "Airsoft Organization of South Carolina and California" due to supposed acronym copyright conflicts. Many lulz were had. Thanks on the patch, got a heck of a deal on them since I did all the design and digitizing myself.
  18. What's going on with the missing button mechanism on the 104? Are you switching stocks, or is it a work in progress in some other way?
  19. Who is this Suky of which you speak?
  20. My fake plates sucked, so I cut out cardboard plates in the correct shape, and folded them at the edges to make a curve. Then I sandwiched them over some heavy magazines (think GQ type affairs) and wrapped them in duct tape. The end result has held up for months, and feels a lot like a real plate aside from the weight. They've held their shape and do the job quite nicely.
  21. That's A-TACS. Edit: Ahem, thought I was in a different thread. It was primarily developed for US law enforcement, but as far as I know nobody is really using it officially. I've seen a few pictures of SF forces in the middle east wearing it, but I don't think its getting issued.
  22. Internally $1k each, or $1k each because it's a few $300-400 rifles with expensive parts on the outside? The stock VFC SR15 plus the optic and light alone would be over $1000.
