  1. It's a glock 19, with a 23f ris block
  2. As the hit player walks off the field, he realises running out of ammo halfway through the rush and having to resort to his trusty SOCOM was not the best idea of the day : :
  3. There will be several 'in the field' pics posted in about half an hour, when I get home from uni.
  4. Me at the very start of my airsofting career, with just my glock 23f and my g36. Seems such a long time ago now. Reejoc, please see my post a few back for an apology. At the end of the day, it's not worth getting narky about.
  5. Calm? I was calm. I wasn't the one that resorted to personal insults. Edit: Fair point, I called him a closed minded bigot. My apologies, calling reinactors geeks and weirdos annoyed me. I'm sorry, but I am in complete agreement with C_H in that I don't give a flying fruitcage what you wear to a skirmish so long as you play well, take your hits, and have fun. What you wear is irrelevent, and down to personal preference. What annoys me is people like reejoc who try and subscribe some kind of sinister motive to dressing like a member of a real steel unit, other than we like the wa
  6. I understand your point fine. You think that creating themed loadouts is wrong, because we are in some way causing disrespect. You also believe that this desire to create themed and realistic loadouts leads to airsoft getting bad press. That's fine, you're entitled to those views. I disagree, as I think would most users, especially those who serve or have served in the varying armed forces. I can, in some respects, understand the viewpoint that wearing unit patches/rank you haven't earned (SAS, SEaLs etc) could be seen as disrespectful of those who've gone through what it takes
  7. Fair point. But for the purpose of this thread I wouldn't count that as kit, but weapons. I'd be carrying those if I was wearing a neon hockey shirt like the paintballers do. (heaven forfend!) Besides, having that many guns isn't necessary....but it's bloody good fun
  8. Well, from my knowledge of it, I think a lot of veterans want younger generations to learn about the war, so we don't grow up dumb enough to repeat the mistakes. Erm....Airsoft is used in a lot of cases as a training aid. And you still haven't answered my question. For example; For urban, I own a set of US Desert camo, assault vest, kneepads and 'delta' helmet. I look remarkeably like an extra from blackhawk down, and yet all these things I wear because they are useful. Am I imitating a soldier then? Frankly sir, I believe the only thing that would give our hobby a bad
  9. So what about re-inactors? Do you feel the same way about them? I'd be interested in what you define as *unecessary equipement*. With the possible exception of rank slides/unit patches I can't think of a single airsoft I know who carries more kit than they have to. You obviously have a bee in your bonnet about this, and I wonder why.
  10. Sorry, I haven't been clear. I'd be looking to buy these and put the green gas adaptor in. I was wanting whoever put the review up to comment on how easy it was to swap out the co2 parts for the green gas parts.
  11. Hmmm.....*Starts messing around in photoshop.* Problem is, I think if we do get this made (I'm seriously considering having a set done) set up costs would prohibit more than one colour. OD would probably be best, you agree? Edit: I talk ######s. Once the setup fee is paid, zero one will do it on OD, S95 DPM, and S95 desert at no extra cost.
  12. Fair enough. I don't take the way I look seriously, but I know others that do. I don't see the need to spend hundreds of pounds on gucci kit, either, but that's by the by. You're entitled to your opinion. I personally think you're wrong, and that so long as a 'softer's attitude doesn't impinge on others at a skirmish, they can show up looking like a member of whatever unit they wish. If they CLAIM to to have been part of that unit without adequeate supporting evidence, then there's a fair few soldiers at my site that would take issue at that. Walter Mitty don't belong here.
  13. Agreed. Explain yourself, Reejoc, lest we taunt you.
  14. Excellent. Hardcore has her eye on one of these (or possibly a pair for that trinity esque goodness) but they have to be skirmishable first. Can whoever posts the review please cover how easy the replacement of the valve unit is?
  15. Gods, I'm so tempted by those KJW para ords. I'm half considering sending back my USP compacts under the thirty day money back garauntee A2 offers and getting a pair of them instead.
  16. And now thanks to alecamused, we have a team logo. YAR!
  17. Grrrrr. Hates photoshop. Alec, you have PM. Didn't want to bother you with minor details, but since you offer...
  18. Dude, you rock! +1 for you if/when the rep system returns. Now, all I need is someone to turn it into an iron on patch.....
  19. The Sony Kill Stick. And I'd buy one in a heartbeat, that looks teh s3x!
  20. I think forgottenvalour would disagree. But then, he's a moron...
  21. Prototype for the Team Airsoft Cultist badge. It's just a rough sketch, but my photoshop skills are a bit lacking. Anyone care to lend a hand converting this to a workable graphic?
  22. There's a really simple solution to this. MAKE IT POSITIVE REPUTATION ONLY! It allows people to show they have contributed to the forum, or that someone has brightened their day, or has posted something they found useful. Removing the option to neg-rep would prevent the stupid rep wars breaking out. In addition, I would happily put myself forward to solely moderate rep, as I feel it's a worthwhile addition to the forums.
