if i wasn't heading off to Rochester NY next year for college I'd definitely be picking one of these up. how do they perform in cold weather? Is there a significant FPS drop?

LS: who makes the acog on your rifle? (or is it trijicon?)

vtb, which part exactly broke? what is it in the picture? and after how many rounds did it break?

aeg's don't have a problem in cold weather. only gbb's because the gas doesn't expand as much due to the low temp. temperature doesn't affect gears that much ;-) (yes the battery a little, but not so much)

is there a possibility that the bolt could spark and possibly ignite the propane? it's a little different than your average GBB, is it not?

man i was just about to buy a vfc 416. now i'm not sure which to get, they're about the same price.

i just like how their so much more durable. with the old aluminum ones, dropped em a couple times and they were out of commission. but these just keep going and going. not sure if i can justify the extra $10 for the window though. do you find it worth it?

pic doesn't show. with regard to the safariland, how do you know if it'll fit or if it's the right kind? there's a bagillion different model numbers for the same kind it seems. i'm trying to get a safariland 6005 actually, i like how it's easily releaseable, for my we 1911, but am unsure of which to get.

i'm sure it's real steel because it's mounted on a real steel rifle. you can tell by the notches for the bolt assist and the fact that it only has semi and safe, no auto. a replica sight wouldn't work on a real gun because with all the recoil it wouldn't hold zero past the first shot. Desertfox: do you like the pmags?

i know this has been asked a bunch of times, but just want to confirm it. is the vfc 416 really being discontinued? I've been looking at retailers (uncompany, RW, wgc, etc.) and they're all out of stock. any thoughts? because i really want one and really want the Hk trades, but hope it's not too late.

Sniperman15: Those are my plans as well to swap out everything on the inside with a systema gearbox and magnum. My question is, is it possible to accomplish that with the crane stock? Because it has a heatsink and i'm not sure if it would be possible to shove that in a crane stock or if you need the full stock to fit it all. Any thoughts?
