Guys, Any idea where I could get replacement wires for the sopmod ?

I'm using this one http://www.atstacticalgear.com/cgi/commerc...amp;key=ST-5917 with a Vickers 2 point sling... Very simple effective and completely silent. Now I guess it depends on what kind of attachment you're looking for?

Any idea where can I get a wrench to tighten the stock tube nut? Its always untightening because of the recoil, and my guarder armorer wrench doesn't really work for it - almost broken it BTW - did you notice Laylax now list their first 4 parts for the Sopmod? http://www.laylax.com/

My old gun is a CA M15A2 running 90-100 m/s all across her life and with a TK barrel - deadly accurate, so I'm a firm believer.

So.... what spring would bring this baby to ~110 m/s ? (The idea being that would mean 100-105 with a Tanio Koba twist barrel).

how do other mags work in your dboys ? My old D-boys CQB-R wouldn-t fit Tokyo Marui 68 rounders, so I filed the magwell, not the mags. The idea being that I wanted to be able to use mags from other players, and they be able to use mine.

Interesting, both me and my mate - with 2 of the first sopmods sold by WGCShop - sometimes experience a problem with the gun not locking on an empty mag. Not 100% reproductible. Could this be related?

I've been toying a lot with the idea to buy a GBB M4, esp. after handling a WA one. What keeps me away from them - high price of magazines - with WA family at least. Perhaps to be solved with eithre PGC, G&P or KA magazines? - poor cold weather performance, which would be a problem over here. I can use my AEG during winter, but autumn / spring sometimes have varying temperatures along the day With the G&P GBB, at least I drop one other scare factor - the big initial price point required to have a full metal solid internals working rifle. Right ?

Magsz, more details on how you fit that ? What kind of shimming did you do? (I'm thinking to put one of the DD RIS II clones on it, and the mounting solution should be similar)

Re: Powerstroking -> there is no way to lock the fake bolt back. In fact the bolt doesn't lock back on an empty mag, it's just the bolt release that pops out. The charging handle pulls the fake bolt back (very cool) but thats that. And btw, our limited skirmish experience (two guns) is that the gun doesn't stop firing all the time. Perhaps its the cold: 0 to 10 degrees celcius, here. Pat, how exactly does one fit it to the battery ? I've never customized batteries except changing from tamiyas to deans etc. Magsz, what sling are you using ?

Were the batteries you used before Nicad by any chance? The Marui batts are Nimh - type which is affected by cold.
