Has anybody used the MAG or CYMA midcaps in a TM M14? I'd like to grab a few more magazines, and the TM standards are prohibitively expensive. This seems to be the best place to ask, as I haven't been able to dig up any information about this elsewhere.

US SF in Afghanistan Picture from a game this fall: I'm on the Right RAID BDUS BDU belt Eagle LVAC Safariland 6004 Chicom VFC AIMS TM 1911 Since this photo, I've removed the bottom pockets on the BDU top so that it tucks in better. I've also replaced the BDU belt with a Riggers belt that doesn't loosen itself up over the course of a day. The AIMS furniture could do with some refinishing, but other than that, I've very happy with this setup as it stands. I'll be adapting this with a SPEAR fleece and watch cap for winter play.

It should be noted that the CETME wood is different from the G3 type. The stock is not completely hollow, as is the case with the G3 type furniture. It does have a thin tube drilled through the stock, which can be drilled out to accommodate a battery, but I do not believe that it can accommodate a standard battery without some modification. I did the CETME conversion myself some time ago, and wrote a guide that should help you out should you choose to go through with it. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...howtopic=156243

I'm running a Chicom over armor at the moment as well, and I really like the simplicity that it offers. When I ran an EI Chest rig, despite it being a very basic platform, I found myself looking for things to fill the empty MOLLE space, rather than streamlining it as much as possible. The standard Chicom is a very basic rig, but it carries everything that I need it to, and nothing else.

Quick question: Can the VFC AIMS series take a 4/5A sized battery? Specifically, an 8.4v Elite 2000mAh 4/5a pack, which, going by the dimensions on CBP, should be about 12" long.

I'd like to pose a quick question to the user base here. Are STAR lowcaps compatible with VFC AK's, specifically the AIMS? I'd like to pick up a set of basic lowcaps, but I've heard that there may be some feeding issues with that pairing. If so, what sort of mids/lows would be recommended for VFC guns?

I'm pretty sure that is a mask, similar to those Army of Two jobs, but *slightly* more realistic. That, or he's posing in blackface.

Fits the bill perfectly. Many thanks.

I figured that this would be the place to ask: Are there any replicas of the Simonich Gunner grips on the market at the moment? I'm hoping to pick up a second 1911, and, being somewhat compulsive about this sort of thing, would really like them to match, but I simply cannot justify the price of two pairs of simonich grips. The Kimber type grips on RSOV are akin to what I'm looking for, but I'm looking for the simonich golfball pattern, rather than that odd waffle type.

Quick Question: What is the going price for a set of German G3 furniture nowadays? I have a set in good condition that I'm trying to get rid of, as I don't want to go through the bother of modifying it, but I'm not terribly sure how much I should let it go for.

I'm still working out what to do with the cyalumes. I prefer them to be accessable, so that I can yank them from the ring and toss them when needed, but I haven't yet found a place on my kit that will allow me to have easy access to them while keeping them secure and somewhat out of the way. MOLLE loops worked well for that, but I've moved on to better things.

Seems like this would be the place to ask. Does anyone know of a guide for wiring a G3 to the front?
-
I now own: 1 set of G3 wood furniture, 1 set of CETME wood furniture, 1 set of G3 ABS furniture, A solid stock, and a retractable stock. And that's the stuff that's not attached to either of my two G3's. Tell me, G3 aficionados, do I have a problem?
