I know I'm a page later here but AWESOME. Thanks for the info on that, on the next one around I will go more specific for the older version.
  4. Does that mean the Ambi safety from the hi-capa would fit the 1911 as well? I might have to find a hi-capa and tinker.
  5. AH! Thanks guys. It is indeed a Blade Tech, in fact it's a match to a RH WRS DUTY HOLSTER w/Light 3" Loop.
  6. I have tried doing searches but I can't find my answer. What style holster is that in the fourth picture down? It seems to resemble a Safariland but I can't find it anywhere.
  7. thanks guys. The body is a King Arms and I believe the ambi mag release is a King Arms as well, though I could be wrong with that. It has been a while since I purchased the release. The scope is actually a leapers. It's a 1-4x24. It's fantastic, it is a good red dot, than with the move of a dial a scope with ACOG magnification. It will be moving to paint soon though, as I would like my REECE rifle to blend in with the area I am doing the recon in.

Well thank you. Too bad she's gone and it's one to my next project....which I guess will just be up here when it's done.

After looking back it does meet the mark. Built it to meet the original specs to some of the first released SPR Mk12 Mod 0's.
  10. I picked up mine a couple of weeks ago and I don't regret it at all. I was getting it to be my replacement for my everyday jacket since my normal fleece was getting quite ratty and the arms had gotten too short after many years of washing. This jacket has been fantastic so far. It has been into and out of the city everyday with me and seen everything from the mild 50's to the recent snow/ sleet/ rain combination hitting the NYC area for the past week or so. It has been both decently warm and kept me nice and dry from the snow. The giant hood is a little big to seem to stay sto
  11. That is correct! When I get the rest of the com gear together I will toss a complete pic up.
  12. I have a pair and they were exactly like that until I put fresh batteries in. They do run a tad more on the sensitive side as far as hearing goes, but they are a step up from the Replica units, and a step down from the ComTacs. BUT, I couldn't find the setup that includes the mic/boom, arm to attach, and wires to run to a PTT, anywhere in the US. I contacted Peltor and they told me the kits were only sold in Europe. Thus I am working on making the replica parts interface with the Soundtrap, looks promising though I would much prefer the correct parts for the job.
  13. I was going to add the tabs, but I have to wait to sew them onto the red rag. Easy to get to though, even with gloves on, if I have some problems I might add the cord. Good thought there.
  14. Got the new helmet together. Using the "counter weight" pouch for my red rag for quick access.
