What state? Yeah those plastic airsoft knives can be a bit dodgy in the wrong hands. Even training knives for some aren't suggested. One of the local fields had empty water bottles to use as knives. Not very tactical but pretty well impossible to hurt someone during an ambush.

The fit of mine was fine. If I shimmed it the catch would just bind. It's a weak spring, tripping a tiny lever in a less than ideal location with a mag that feeds BBs to catch a heavy chunk of metal.

Mag catch. The stock one just had a hairs worth of wear.

Four years I've been at this. A war at the mag catch. A war with no battles, no monuments... only casualties. Today, I swapped in a Daniel Defense catch and spring and removed the Angry Gun recoil kit. Once again the bolt locks back on empty.

Real is super easy to get here so that's my plan A. Not sure about ambi, I always wind up bumping it on my gear and dropping mags. Eyes on the RA Tech parts, nice to have the other one also though. I've had to make a few and they're a bit dodgy.

I thought I was too but it's super sharp and if you ever need to fix it off the cuff it's pretty easy.

Bit of a shopping trip yesterday.

The grey gear is nice because you can wear it on hikes etc. and not look whacky. Don't hike in grey if you tend to get lost though and need rescue. You can definately nail down sizing and feel as long the LEAF item has a civilain twin. If you feel the LEAF stuff is pricey check out Veilance. You'll probably say WTF all caps.

Here's the tricky part (and what adds $$$) to the price. The stuff sold in the USA isn't always made in the same places as LEAF made for the UK or Canada. All those small batches and small changes add $$$ to the price overall. The good news is that if you shop aroud and go to a storefront location you can get better pricing than the online stuff. The do sell LEAF stuff there with dropped stitches etc. They run blowout sales out there a few times a year. These guys

It may very well be made in the USA to be Berry compliant.

Mine hasn't broken down at all.. I only opened it up to swap the forerip and stock. It's like any other product; the folks who have problems complain long and loud, and the folks who don't just tend to get on with their lives. I think the most important thing is to be carefull when you load and shoot. If you have a missfeed or other issue make sure you clear it before continuing to rack it.

I have been told no many times to the plan of crossbreeding G17s and G18s. Some pistols now like the Stark or the Guns Modify slide for the G17 have a selector switch under at the BBU assembly that lets you pick full happy.
