  1. Credit where credits due, it took an Asian to spot the dot was missing after 'S' in U.S.A. on the new Cybergun/VFC M&P (fullsize)
  2. Never held the RS, so I can only share these photos if they help, you'd have a better idea. Cheers.
  3. Hey there, Try UnCo, they should have both steel versions in stock ! http://www.uncompany.com/pageproductdetails.asp?prodid=35576
  4. That's just at prototype early stages, they sometimes post unfinished models in naked aluminium colours, it will probably be available in both colours eventually. But I'll be sticking with my KSC until the P30 or HK45c become available
  5. Hey Whiteknight. In theory I only bought the Pro as an afterthought as I had the internals of a WE slide leftover, so I said why not two for the price of one in a Custom Costa Box that I had left over from my Costa Ludus 1911 build. But the pro I'm really impressed with, it has the makings of a decent race gun, and with a hi-Capa type inner barrel should function quite accurately. I don't think Detonator will release ATEi/SAI/Standard slides for the VFC/Cybergun after committing to WE, and with the TM on the horizon, unless Ace One release more stuff, thank god the Hong Kong prices are a bi
  6. iPhone shots. ATEI-Costa S&W M&P Pro 5" (Detonator/OCT/WE)
  7. That's good to hear Bear in mind when the weather gets hot the slide might start locking back and fail to return to battery with the stock springs, as they are quite weak for the force of CO2. I think it's only a matter of swapping the springs out for a TM stock 1911 spring, maybe cut shorter to size required. NonEx may answer this as I'm sure he tried changing springs on his. Cheers.
  8. Hard to believe this time two years ago I hated all stippled frames, how the mind can be swayed by the Gun Still not crazy about gold barrels, check back in 2 years
  9. The thickness off the RA Tech steel barrel for WE will not fit into the VFC, maybe with the narrower threaded barrel on the Angry Gun it will work, but it looks kind of cheaply finished - I could be wrong though ! But I don't trust this one barrel fits all release, and I was looking forward so much to getting a threaded barrel for the VFC I think I'll let someone else test the water on this one
  10. This INO 'Series 70' has been in the pipeline since 2010, the original plan was for the GM, Series 70 Stainless then Blued. It looks like Redwolf and CRW are putting out teasers for a Stainless Steel version, as far as I know it's harder to get the blued-finish correct on the steel version, and this is probably what most people would be interested in. I think before parting with money you'd have to see some decent HD footage, if you pause the CRW video you'll notice the MSH fit looks similar to their previous release which was a bit sloppy, but it could be an advanced prototype which would e
  11. Hey uscmCorps, Some photos of your R/S would fit in nicely here for comparison or even the R/S thread, I'd love to see them. My trigger guard isn't stippled underneath, that's their SAI version that has that. Cheers.
  12. Yes I received the frame in the Post this morning, and had it built in about 10 minutes. I had previously put the slide together. I'm delighted how the frame turned out, the ATEI area/pattern made all the difference, compared to the normal SAI M&P stippled frame. Thanks again for all your help, very efficient.
  13. As HitmanNo2 mentioned some Hong Kong retailers including Boomarms have them at reasonable prices, CRW have the 5" advertised at $100 more expensive ($329) than Boomarms ($213), maybe it's a mistake, maybe not. The Enten distribution deal meant Japan got them first this time around, hence the big prices. But I'd go with Boomarms The OCT stippling job was their first ATEI type as far as I'm aware, they spray the finished product with Duracoat/Ceracoat (?) So it's much blacker than in the above photos. Here are some earlier iPhone shots I took where it's more noticeable.
  14. I eventually got rid of the supplied Nova aluminium barrel that came with the Colt Combat Commander kit, It wasn't designed very well as the barrel bushings ate into the chamber lugs, unless of course you take a couple of millimetres off your barrel bushing. I eventually got Nick Hulme @ Magic 9 to cut a Shooters Design 5" stainless-steel barrel down to size, and matched it up with a Colt 45 Auto SD barrel chamber. I just took a few quick shots, but had to use the flash, so any reflection you see off the barrel or chamber is from a light layer of silicon oil being reflected. Cheers.
  15. ATEI Costa M&P 4.25" (Detonator/WE) My latest Custom-Build is an ATEI/Costa M&P, it is a fully functional WE build - Yes WE. Its firing about 20fps more than the VFC and gas consumption is satisfactory. Note if you are thinking of getting a WE for a custom build, the latest batch in Europe have the previous flaws sorted out, and can be recognised by a quality control sticker in the magwell. As there is quite a backlog of old stock WE M&Ps in the UK, some of the newer quality controlled models are only available in mainland Europe as yet. But if you buy from a shop that has
  16. The Nova SF Operator LDC was a 2013 resale of the newer version of the kit, so this years resales will probably be different or usually what's in demand in Japan. Maybe you can make Drake an offer he can't refuse
  17. For Norsk, Here are the SA Glock CO2 details : The plastic tab at the bottom of the spring is what releases the bumper, and also the spring unfortunately, otherwise it can be quite fiddly as the cap underneath the bumper can get wedged between the bumper and magazine if you loosen too much, which is the recommended way as shown in the instructions on top.
  18. I had a quick look at the internals and everything looks and feels like the stock parts within the BBU and frame, maybe the hammer spring is stronger along with the recoil-rod and springs. But I gave the stock SA Glock 19 a quick going over with the CO2 magazine and at 14-15c it was averaging 321-329fps with 0.20gBB [Excel] The hop-up might need a slight adjustment for long distance shooting. This is what your G19 will look like with the G17 CO2 magazine.
  19. Hey Desert Express. Not too sure how you came to that conclusion, as the post was not aimed at you ??? It was just basically a light-hearted shout out to 24 Fans on what to expect next. I have a USPc that I won't be throwing away soon also. Maybe something is getting lost in translation, as I at no stage made any comment or reference to your Zeke USPc. If you want me to comment on it I will
  20. Hi Norsk, Let me double check the internals to see if any of the parts are reinforced and I'll try the CO2 mag on the stock version for you.
  21. CO2 mags are fine on the SA Glocks, getting the cap on can be a bit fiddley, as it doesn't take the threads immediately. I wouldn't fancy having to change them out in the field skirmishing. The instructions that come with the SA CO2 mags are to leave the bumper on the mags and loosen the locking cap through a hole with your hex wrench, but the fit is so tight to get the capsule in sideways, that it's easy to over loosen the cap so it gets stuck against the bumper, which then in return refuses to come off. But a few magazines loaded carefully at home should do the trick. As I mentioned prev
  22. Hey Planeman, No visually dramatic changes upon pawing Is that the newer finish on your Glock ? I think there have been at least two different slide finishes since 2010 alone, I read about one having a deep penetrating polymer-oil ? That particular one wasn't too popular.
  23. All you Jack Bauer fanboys (myself included) will have to upgrade your H&K USPc for H&K P30 In a trailer for the upcoming season of 24, Jack can be seen holding a H&K P30 which he coincidentely also used in a previous episode of 'Touch' (2013) Touch 24 Live Another Day
  24. I see the mistake I made with my wording When I said 'here are some photos to keep you going until then' I meant for everyone, not just you. As I wasn't going to post any photos of it at all, because I thought you'd do a better job with a full review etc. But as yours has got indefinitely delayed, I decided to post some shots for the people who were anxious to see it. I'm sure you'll eventually get yours once they've sorted out their mistake, as it's Co2 and technically legal in your country. It's a great replica, but I still think a CNC'd version of the G19 with steel barrel and CO2
